in russian, they are singing something like "birds in the iron cages that cannot fly away" one guy said. i also can confirm "...mammals predators and birds...". the rest is really blurred.
-
6/10 is not even remotely funny. it cannot be less that 8 or 9 basically, cause it's so good. fucking noobs that listening to bad quality mp3s...
-

i heard somewhere that vinyl and web are mastered little differently. i've downloaded everything in 24 flac and it seems that vinyl is slightly less compressed. atm im listening on shit speakers to be honest, and it can be shit rip, but i like vinyl slightly better can anyone tell me if it is true or i need to check my ears?

I'll just leave this excerpt from Bill Bryson's wonderful book A Short History of Nearly Everything here: sorry, if i haven't made my thought very clear. I've never said there's no room to grow - there is, of course. It's just more challenging because there is so much done already. And "innovations" are not in your face like they were in 90s. Syro is new for me in terms of composition - it's so alive and morphing like nothing out there. We've heard all synths and percussion before, basically, and maybe that's why people are complaining that it sounds like tuss outtakes on the first listen. But when you get used to it and start listening to album as a whole new experience (not in comparsion to tuss or drukqs), you start discovering that besides alike sounds, it's actually a really different beast with different ideas. It's really fresh to me, and Im sure he will do something even more experimental and new.

btw guys who claim it to be not too "innovative". I think you are forgetting one important thing - the peak of innovations in music itself. In the 80-90s you could do whatever you wanted - invent drum n bass, trance, acid, jungle and idm because technology and synths were still kinda new and people just haven't twiddled all the knobs and tried all different structure of patterns. It was blank list. As time went, we have discovered almost everything about sound synthesis, heard almost all possible combination of waveforms and beats imaginable. It's not that album isnt innovative by itself, it's the nature of sound that is creating the barrier. We can't jump higher because focking physics and laws of nature. Before it was much easier to invent and shock people with new shit. Now it's not. Syro is like that - nothing really groundbreaking, but done on the most highest level in it's own kind. he just polished his sound to absolute.

you forgot Japanese track! no idea who's singing there, but I think it's his wife because words are in russian. (...mammals wild birds...) minipops - clearly richard xmas - son or wife in the end i think produk29 - random slut?) (sample)...[product went in eyen?)] 4 bit - sounds 99% richard circlont6a - richard fz - same thing circlont14 - wife syro - wife papat4 - vocoder is richard my guess, or father (as the name suggests) earth portal - wife hope telps your little research

you are probably experience something bad in your life atm. maybe a girl dumped you, you got out of apartment, or a boss shouting at you every day. you need a place to throw out all the negativity, and you found this forum, it's understandable. if it helps to make your pain go away, you can continue with this angry posts, but i recommend meditation and lsd. and about syro - basically your point is "it's not the X album or Y track", i want them instead! great - go and listen to them, if you prefer that tracks, maybe syro is just not your thing. i hope it will grow on you however, album is magnificent
-
exactly! just as that first listening "reviews", where people talked about when they first heard afx, how they miss the old times, how it hes been doing, what their cat ate today and how much is the fish, and a couple of words in the end, like "album is ok not innovates". kinda boring to me, but it's just me...Im sure it'll be pleasant for someone to read!) thx anyway! good to have different views.
-
i also remember people begging for more analords of xltronic (probably here too), and in some cozy christmas we've actually received them =) edit: and disinformation is part of braindance culture, it's ok to lie in intervies
-
omg one of my favorite moments on album actually!) and synth that comes next...makes me almost cum. so afexish every time i listen to that, it's like I'm running out of some dirty shit club with hoes, down to beautiful acid night streets, very visual...
-
"Pseudo strech of sound it time" to be absolutely correct. Basicaly pseudotimestretch Also in earth portal she just sings "streeeeching" in russian
-
it's very kind form to address to socks. "lovely socks" will be closest i guess. it's kinda hilarious if your russian Нааааасоооочки !

i think it depends on track. some of them, like minipops/180 are more or less the same as 6 years old, but he didn't need to bend them too much, cause they already fit perfectly...some of tracks are really connected, maybe they were just part of one big jam at the time, and some im sure he edited to be more fitting to album atmosphere...i like that every track is so not like other but alike as a whole at the same time, perfect balance...i was kinda lost in first listens by how much in blends alltogether yet sooo different
-
i dunno about you talking that this just a bunch of unrelated tracks. for me it's perfectly connected - same samples on a lots of tracks, same mood and bass, percussion and all the little things round there...very stylish and in one concept. many tracks are linked and have same melodies for a couple of seconds/patterns just as someone mentioned here, it gets you like "acid lost" - was i hearing that before, is it the same thing? oh god no no i see where it leads me... it's like they were quite different at start, but he sit and tried to make it as a whole. some tracks (180db/anastasia) are different, but in a good way, so that album sounds alike and really different at the same time
-
i also drunk and this is unbelievable how this album gets better and better with every listen, never had that much growing thing on me it's always different - calm when i am calm, agressive and straight when im drunk, happy and joyful on acid, and weeeeeed omg it has everything in it, so afexish and personal, you can hear exactly him in every track, not like anyone else... it's like im 17 again, tripping in the woods near the abandoned factories thanks alot rich, it really exceeded

in circlont6a, womans voice (nastya i suppose) sings "... in motion, sounds in time"...(*** в движении, звуки во времени = russian) =))
