  1. I tried to write this without spoiling anything for anyone.

Yeah, that happens in the first volume. I think issue 5 or 6. It sets up the circumstances with Carl and Shane. I think they're probably going to go forward with that plotline, but are saving it for the end of the season. I actually like the way they're going about it, since it gives Shane more character development. The way things ended in volume 1 seemed kind of abrupt. You do have to keep in mind there's a month between each issue and like 7 or 8 months between volumes.

  2. I don't see how anyone could buy comics in a digital format. I understand it's convenient and "green," but there's something to holding the actual physical thing in your hand. I tend to value it more when I can actually touch it.

Digital comics on an iPad (or any tablet I'm assuming) makes a world of difference as far as this argument is concerned. I still prefer reading and holding physical items, but sampling new comics or downloading out of print works ( Alan moore's miracle man being a good example) is all pretty sweet on the iPad screen

I can understand wanting to get the out of print stuff. That's actually a good way to do it, but I think if I had the choice to either have a stack of physical books or some files on a device, I would choose the physical medium almost every time. I enjoy going to the comic shop and interacting with other nerds.

  3. I read a whole bunch of Image. I regularly buy the Walking Dead and Invincible but will buy pretty much any first issue if it looks promising.

Infinite Vacation, Carbon Grey, and Nonplayer are the ones I've been impressed by in the past year.

uhhhh I literally spaced that by like 7 spaces each letter to be more 'safe' or whatever and can't edit it now

I don't stream anyway, I download from megaupload and as soon as it starts download I click on the .part which I've associated with VLC media player and turned off it asking if I want to repair. It's just as quick of a process as streaming, especially with sites that have advertising and I get to use a much much better media player

Thanks, I'm all caught up now

I'm liking this season so far. I've been reading the comic for years, but I like seeing them take it in a new direction. I'm glad it doesn't directly follow the comic so I have something new to see. Also, I like that Kirkman is more hands on this season.

really don't know how I feel about this. it could be great, could also be so very very very shit.

Christ, the poor grammar in this article really gives me a headache. Do people hire editors anymore?

Anyway, I'll wait to see how his new movie turns out then I'll probably pop a vein about fucking up Blade Runner.

  6. I'm at work so I don't have the original right now, but here's a quick sketch of a knife stabbing another knife

Here, I drew one for you.

This is what immediately comes to mind when I think of a knife stabbing a knife.

  7. I swear to zombie jesus there was a thread just like this like three weeks ago.

every week on every music forum there is a new jazz thread in which the same albums are mentioned

So the logical thing to do would be to just bump the old one, right?
