confused
is the whole EP out or is it just the one song?
-
16 track LP confirmed
At further parts of the beginning, you can even see stuff like "track_28"
I think it's just referring to all the individual tracks within one song; looks like each track has a different instrument assigned to it.

the syro press release had this bit
Full steam ahead barreling out that several other singles and EPS are given, and in 1493 was a record collapse.
unreleased 1993 EP, calling it nowowoWOWOW
woah nice find
Or 1493 days after Syro.
that makes the release date for collapse october 24...
mind blown

What time will this be aired UK time?
Guessing that schedule refers to US time?

So is anyone gonna be able to rip this adult swim thing?

Listen to aphex and you'll soon realise there are still many melodies to uncover.
Love OPN but he does talk some pretentious bullshit.
all sounds rather bombastic
aphex fanboys please stay in your containment subforum
lol
Genuinely enjoy OPNs music, garden of delete was great! And his interviews can be interesting too. Just thought it was a bit of a cop out to say the reason behind you ripping titanic was because it's the end of the 'harmonic epoch' i mean come on, that's pretty funny.
He's prob just trolling to be fair

Celineformation:
"But long story short, in homage, I composed this piece called “Toys 2” because I really have very few memories of Toys with Robin Williams, but I thought, "Okay. This will be my proof of concept for Robin Williams’ posthumous CGI return, which will break his request in the will, and it will be a controversial item, and it's going to be this big moment in culture. I'll just make the music now." I had this strange kind of kazoo sound and it's playing this strange lullaby on top of these other things that somehow quoted Céline Dion. I’m thinking we must be reaching the end of a harmonic epoch. There's only so many permutations of the chromatism left to uncover."

Best live show I've seen, made me appreciate the album a whole lot more.
Babylon has really grown on me too, although black snow is still meh

yeah I mean John Lennon didn’t threaten to shove a bbq brush up his girlfriends vagina if she didn’t stop humming some other piece of shit rap song so
No but John Lennon beat the shit out of his wife and disowned his son.
Ya'll forget tupac served prison time for raping a woman??
I never said he was a great guy and I clearly stated that if he did what you say, then of course he deserves a lengthy prison sentence!
But death? I mean come on.
-
shitty way to go but he was a piece of shit
p much.
Another blight on society not gone soon enough. I know I'm kind of shitty saying that, it's a human life and all that. But some people contribute to a culture etc that do society much more harm than good - in this case a woman beater apparently.
Whatever the case, nobody deserves to die. Was a young kid really who probably had a rough upbringing, experienced violence on a daily basis from a young age.
If he did what he did, he deserved a long prison sentence but death? No way.
Do you guys feel the same way about john lennon?

This album still isn't clicking 4 me : ( Plus I fuckin hate that film TOYS, now every time i hear the song i can't not think about Robin Williams and LL Cool J in stupid clothing
Wish he hadn't inextricably linked that song to that film
Think that's a big issue with this album, one song reminds me of titantic/toys, one sounds just like an ANHONI song and then all the ones that start to sound like opn have been shut down by James Blake and not allowed to blossom.
The front cover for this album is a perfect representation, great production and interesting ideas but ultimately just a big mess. Parts of the cover are beautiful but it's way too much and doesn't know what it wants to be.

Still waiting on higher quality. Finding it hard to get lost in the music with these shitty mp3s
One thing that's irking me is that the best tracks imo happen to be the shortest ones. In garden of delete the songs would keep improving as they went along, just kept going to another level.
Here it seems like a great idea just peters out.

it is not possible to clean up soulseek
I don't know i was just checking soulseek this morning and everything had disappeared. Maybe its back now
I guess you could message the users and tell them not to seed it but apart from that i guess there isn't really a way to stop it being seeded.
-
wow! looks like warp managed to clean up soulseek. Can't find any downloads for age of anymore, were quite a few up there last night.
-
hmmmm
sounds like a mess but not a good mess like g.o.d
lots of interesting sounds and textures, just never really seems to gel. This rip is crap quality though so maybe it will sound more cohesive in wav
'age of' and 'we'll take it' are nice but nothing else has captivated me so far
overall to me it sounds way more jazzy and experimental than i was expecting. Wish he'd left the singing out entirely, would have been a much more fun trip to just ride through these rambling disjointed jazzy numbers without the interspersed pop ditties.

in b4 "wow reminds me of boc!!!!!!!!!"
hmmmm the singing ruins it for me

Don't get the hate on splesh, track is a proper banger
me neither. 4.26 onwards is solid

I've been going on about how good these sessions are. They are. But I do still want more bass. There's some tracks where I'm really craving some deep bass frequencies that aren't happening....(but did happen more often in Elseq/Exai, even though they also share the sharpness of these sessions...)
That's why t1a1 still gets me and I am addicted to it. So much satisfying meat in the low end! Phwaaarr...
yeah this is way less bassy than elseq. glos ceramics would benefit from some crazy bass later on i think. there were a few tracks that had awesome bass but other than that... t1a1 is awesome but could be developed more as it progresses, but still dig it
what about the middle of splesh doe, dat bass is next level

splesh is spesh
