I presume someone's already done:
DJ Jizzy Jeff?

the other modular performances on his vimeo channel are pretty rad as well. wonder whether or not he considers those songs in the same way he does monarch.
I particularly like this one:
Snares posted it on his own FB feed and I kept playing it, not realizing Joseph was Datach'i until the Monarchs vid came up.
Now I am excite.
This one is like the Shoegaze of IDM! Really nice.
Thanks for posting these.

RIP dude. Scott was one of the great rock singers IMO.

I don't know if Gospel is the right word, ha ha... but I had a look around and found this:

edit: almost getting a pink floyd vibe there.

The Tension tour was visually cool, very nostalgic sound now.
Still think it was an awful decision to have female backup vocals for the show though.
Still waiting for Reznor to do DJ shit with his Year Zero sound palette.
I think the gospel singers were the most fresh addition to his sound in a long time, and was hoping he'd incorporate that into the new album. Alas, no.

I wish they would remember their straight up groove-rock styles like Undertow etc. It's hard to imagine them as the band that wrote Sober or Stinkfist now. Too busy being introverted and progressive and putting samples of rainstorms in their songs.
Who knows, new album might surprise....

For me, 10,000 days was Tool by numbers. Up until that point, every album was a great leap forward. But that one sounded like they were covering themselves.

"Look at the resolution on your child! It's totally HD"... I always like that one.

Maybe someone can contact Anonymous and ask them to reset the internet back to ver 1.0 again?

Anyone else a fan of Cattle Decapitation? Their latest album is pretty damn amazing imo

Red Shirt: The Concert Show Menace (Sci-Fi/Horror)
A dubstep concert ensues. A tall, strange man wearing a red shirt is drifting randomly around the center of the crowd, facing to the right, as everyone else faces forward. One irritated fan decided he had enough of the red-shirted drifter and started shoving him. All the sudden, all hell broke loose, as the drifting man went berserk and started shooting lasers out of his eyeballs, vaporizing fans left and right. Only a certain cybergoth couple manages to escape the venue alive, and must find a way to stop the laser-eyed drifter from wreaking havoc on the rest of the city, who is facing one direction the entire time.
OK, I'm setting up a kickstarter for this one right now.

She'd do it again if she had to.

Here's what I got recently. Giant Cypress LX. Because in the last 2 years, my back has completely crapped out, and I need to be as upright as possible.

Father John Misty's commentary series on stock photos has been cracking me up.

Yeah, collaboartive seating situations only work for 50% of the workforce (extroverts). Introverts will suffer.

Fun! 4bit is such a great track.

Did anyone notice that Mr Robot is basically a remix of:

Probably Jazz, but this concert is mental. Talk about a great live band.
