this is SO 2004.. Been there DONE that.. y'all living under a rock?? I was at Rephlex headquarters when they posted this, right in the center of it ALL
shit is passé
Back in my day, we used to get up at 4am to walk to Rephlex 20 miles uphill through the snow carrying a backpack full of Roland drum machines.

Also, is it true that WATMM is supposed to be pronounced like 'bottom' ala that guy on the radio show?

just watched episode 1 of this and loved it. i really like the guy playing escobar. not so much the DEA agent. also loving the music
I'm about 5 episodes in and really enjoying it as well. Awesome how they integrate the real footage, and yeah the guy playing escobar is brilliant.

Bite through it: Yes.

So he totally inspired himself to make an album? That's pretty cool. Better than having writers block at least.

That 'hoover' like synth makes me want to do bad things to my ears, as does that bass-guitar synth thing. Eeek that's not good ... Warp really should take a bit more care with their whois stuff if they want it to remain a mystery - https://who.is/whois/https://kaossedgeofficial.com
Lol. Phone him up and ask what the heck is up with that song.

Weird. Almost ventures into Skinny Puppy territory in places. Not a fan of the production, and the guitar straight into Behringer Mic200 'tube' pre sounds... but I'm also kinda intrigued in a way.
Also, can anyone release an album without spending time on their Mythic status beforehand these days? Christ.

so my guess is whoever's writing for fact doesn't really listen to what they're trying to write about.
or they're just trying really hard to get attention because the shit they do is painfully boring
the 2 guys who wrote it are generic house music label runners who are attempting to be Vicey and failing
Gross.
Probably to be expected from a couple of guys who's default pose is 'squatting on the rocks'.

How about this for a Wednesday morning?

(I don't know how to embed soundcloud stuff) EDIT - Oh, that's how.
Now we're talking.

Just get yourself a venue and chuck it on a massive P.A. then.
all of the elements in the mix are so dry and distinctive.. those elements are muddled somewhat in the live recording, i think that bit of muddling improves the track. it's as if the individual ingredients are better blending/interacting, producing more interesting results.

I was waiting for the death metal guitars to kick in.

Mr Robot. Quite enjoying it.

They don't even need champagne.

Great. Now I've gone down the Bad Brains YT rabbit hole.

I'm waiting for Hetfeild to put out an acoustic country music album. Maybe team up with Jerry Cantrell. You know he'd be really good at it.

Okay this one's real from the soundcloud header comment:
***Shout out to someone at Yamaha***
Can you please help me to reprogram the O.S in my DX1 please?
You'd think he'd be able to just pick up a phone and be all "Hi, its Richard and.... "

Hetfield: I've got a few of these... a.... acoustic country style songs happening and I'm gonna record a solo album.
Hetfield: Oh really? So like, what are you gonna do with them? You gonna tour this thing? You gonna start selling fuckin' T-shirts??!!
Hetfield: Well I just... there's some downtime and I need to do this.
Hetfield: You know what? No. No you're not. *phones Rick Rubin*
Hetfield: Seriously? After all we've been through?
Anyway, here's my thread contribution:
