    since this topic is bumped i have a curious question i havent been able to find much of an answer for

     

    Anyone on what.cd should check out the collage "Autechre: Discography, Remixes & Side Projects"

    I have grabbed everything already, save for the few tracks listed as "missing".
    If someone were to give me a list of everything I could fill in what I have.

    in the sidebar on that image, does anyone know what that 2002 gescom garbage-data title is? i have a 'copy' of it (it's not an audio file, just... a file) and i have no idea where it's from or what's it for. anyone?

    i found out about ae in 2013. :^)

     

    i had somehow found out about boc, then afx, and every once in a while some autechre videos would be recommended for me on youtube, so i searched autechre on there.

     

    the very first ae track i heard was FLeure.

     

    after seeing that Warp had uploaded all of Exai, i decided that "fuck it, lets listen to all of it" and stopped listening when i got to jatevee C (i was really weirded out, i think)

     

    then i listened to Clipper and thought "yknow this music is actually pretty good"

    and then i started listening to the rest of their discography, and i guess that's how i found out about autechre

    Drukqs is truly a modern masterpiece.

    Question.

     

    My CD artwork lists disc 2 track 4 as QKThr, and it seems that everywhere else lists it as Penty Harmonium. It even came up as the latter when I ripped the album to my iTunes library. What's the reasoning behind this?

     

    This has been bugging me for quite some time, and I guess this thread seemed like the best place to ask.

    the vinyl version of drukqs lists it on side f as Penty Harmonium instead of QKThr. no idea why though
