1st of 3 days off and had pretty mega back spasm and in lot's of pain. knocked the wind out of me. currently seated with ice pack hoping to go numb.
so much for my hopes of enjoying 3 days off
Heat works pretty well on back spasms for me. Hot bath, hot water bottle, heat patches...keeps the muscle from seizing up. Happens to me every year or so and it's the worst.

Like Joyrex said, the Switch Flip Grip is a quality accessory, and really one Nintendo should have included, or at least produced. This is the way Donkey Kong, Galaga, Pac-Man, Dig Dug, etc. were meant to be played.
It's really clever and well made. I have been playing a lot of Ikaruga with it.
Just picked up Guacamelee 2 for Switch as my sanity preservation game for the holidays.

I had major GAS for a Microwave XT the last few weeks. I'm hoping the Blofeld does the job for now as it was less than a quarter of the price.

Simmons stars as two versions of the same character. One is a low-level worker with the United Nations in Berlin. The other, living in a parallel dimension spun off from the real world 30 years earlier, is a coldblooded spy. The first season ended with the two versions of the characters each getting stuck in the other’s dimension. The second season, debuting Sunday night, picks up the story from there, allowing Simmons more time to delve into the nuances of this challenging double role. “I considered all kinds of subtle things in terms of appearance that ultimately seemed unnecessary,” the actor told The Times earlier this year. “Because the more interesting thing was how has a person really changed at his core in the second 30 years of his life due to his environment, his experiences.”

What was the deal with the UK keeping the Sterling and not going to the Euro? Were there any other exceptions or nuances with the UK membership in the EU?
it's not just the UK.
19 of the EU 27 use the Euro, the following don't... then there are 6 non-EU countries / states that do use the Euro
Bulgaria – Lev
Croatia – Croatian Kuna
Czech – Republic Koruna
Denmark – Kroner
Hungary – Forint
Poland – Zloty
Romania – Leu
Sweden – Krona
UK – Pound
Those Eastern bloc countries only joined after the euro was introduced. Like Sweden, they are in the ERM so are supposed to join when certain conditions are met. But Sweden has been kicking the can down the road for a couple of decades now, so who knows what will happen. The Danes and UK opted out of it entirely.

Watched a comedy film called The Predator. The Narcos man steals the alien's hat and gives it to his son who dresses up in it for halloween. The space alien wants the hat and the son because he (the son, not the space alien) has Aspergers and .....they like that.
