i just watched unsane by soderbergh and honestly wtf...
it's definetly on purpose but it looks so amateur and b rated and the soundtrack was completely ridiculous. at least it had kind of a fulfilling ending besides its predictability...
I am a big Soderbergh fan, but Unsane is garbage. I don't mind the low budget aesthetic at all, Tangerine was shot on iPhones and I loved it. I was so bored watching Unsane that the boredom is the only thing I can remember.

dunno if this has gotten any exposure overseas or in UK or whatevs, but that first season of Babylon Berlin was surprisingly good.
I usually don’t watch German series but yeh this one was expensive and looks like it’s made for an international audience and it succeeded, can totally hold its own. It’s like noir/detective/conspiracy stuff in olde Berlin with Russians & Nazis & drugs & porn and whathaveyou.
probably best to watch it in German with subs probably.
It's awesome. One of the best shows I've seen in recent years and I can't wait for another season.

I liked the second episode of Maniac. I have no recollection of watching the first episode even though I only saw it yesterday.
Also watching season 5 of Veep which is great.
And Sharp Objects. One of those things that's difficult to pass judgement on until I've finished with it.

after all that plagiarism business i didn't look into this game too much, but after watching a proper review it looks really good and i think i'll pick it up.
I didn't hear of this. It obviously pays tribute to Castlevania + Metroid and is a Rogue-like with some Dark Souls elements. They were pretty open about being inspired by The Binding of Isaac.
