I was at the Orlando show. IMO only: I felt like the bass was too loud so I found myself wishing I brought ear plugs. The opening acts played too long, so I was real tired by the time Autechre played. (I'm an old man, though, at 35, and I don't sleep in 'til noon). 3 hours of electronic music before an hour of Autechre is overkill and mostly boring. I have enjoyed listening to the live sets more than I enjoyed being at the concert. Autechre is light years in the future, so to some extent, the things around them need to catch up. I feel like they should play venues with seats, like theaters or concert halls. Why were we still staring at the stage? I feel like the crowd behaviors were outdated, especially in those people who felt like they were supposed to dance. Also, morning Autechre concerts might be fun. New venues for new "music."

What is it? $3? So...yeah, it's worth it. In all seriousness: it's been highly enjoyable comparing all four sets. I see no reason not to have all of em. "I'm swimming, dog, fur real."

Mind. Fuckers....each set is so different, even though I know it's based on the same "parameters." Certain fragments/sections/track components reappear only to mark the territory or refresh your bearings. So much the same...yet so much different....Amazing. A masterwork. All four soundboards refer to each other while remaining completely apart; exactly as the artwork suggests lol

It's the opening melody line; also, too melodic and straight-ahead for Autechre IMO. I generally like the harder, abstract stuff. I guess that was kind of a narrative for this track to be cheery at first then delve half-cock into idm dirt as previously mentioned. True. I just could never get passed the opening Makes me think of the violin riff here:

I really like Oversteps when i'm in the mood...with the exception of that one track that always reminds me of Revenge of the Nerds ??? what track is that ? ? ? If you know it, then you know haha I want to say it's about 3/4 in...I'll get the track number when I get to my car later... Track 10 / d-sho qub
