Looks like a good time. Have you ever done a livestream thing?
My friend Yaw Noir wants to do one. He's keen but need to figure out what style to opt for. I'm thinking of jungle too again!!!

This one is pretty basic, but I was happy with the overall sound of it.
Nice little number. Not my favourite of yours but pretty deep. Good sound design throughout.

Anyone got experience with Behringer Soundcards? I like the look of the price of the Uphoria ones.

It’s a little messy right now- I’ve been going thru an old Windows xp desktop backing up old songs, so it’s in the way. Also my good cassette deck is out for repair, pedalboard is out away, I have some Yamaha he monitors to replace the bx5s (just too lazy) and several modules I need to install and move around (also lazy), but this is close to finished.
I also have a sort of “live instrument/toy/video game playroom” in the room nextdoor with acoustic instruments, amps, tape stuff, and a piano in a different room.
Holy shit you haven't got enough gear!!! Damn and I thought I was a gear nut!!!

A bit more info would be helpful; what connections between computer and soundcard are acceptable (usb1/2/3/4/thunder/lightningbolt/fw/etc) how many ins/outs would you prefer, midi or no midi interface, budget.
Having said that, I’ve been really happy with my focusrite saffire pro. It’s a fw interface, current laptop has only lightning and USB ports but it has been working fine with an adapter. Here in NL they’re pretty easy to find 2nd hand, last time I checked prices were anywhere between 150-250 euro. Also I’ve found their customer support to be really good, when I bought mine new my os at the time had some issues running their software but within a day they had somebody chatting with me and fixed the issue via a remote login at no extra cost or whatever. It has 8 ins and outs and is easily expandable, you can add a 2nd saffire via fw daisy chain, I’m currently using the spdif to connect to my monitors and have expert sleepers in/out modules connected via adat. The mix control software has flexible routing and in addition has a virtual loop back routing thing for when you want to record sound from your browser for example into your daw, which is great for sampling yt videos and such.
Awesome. That sounds great. I understand Firewire won't work with Windows unless you have a Firewire port. I would love to daisy chain soundcards. Basically my budget is probably £100-150 and looking for something with as many inputs as possible. My laptop has usb c and usb 3.1 but probably will go for a usb 2.0 soundcard due to budget. I've got my eye on Focusrite Scarlett also. Cheers.

Awesome guys I'm going to check out these channels!!!

Hey all I want to get a new soundcard with preferably 4 inputs. I'm looking at this Behringer UMC404HD Audio Interface but I'm also looking at Focusrite interfaces. What do you think as I want something that's going to work well with Ableton 11 and my laptop? Thanks.

I'm still bummed that you can't remove reposts when listening to your "stream". There's a browser extension for it but still. And the spam.
Spam is terrible on Soundcloud. The amount of fn annoying spammers out there really ruins the excitement of a like on your tune lol.

I have a few tracks that have had a steady algorithm momentum for the past 6 years, but posting a new track today is often discouraging.
so yeah, a lot of enthusiasm has been drained from the user base.
Show off!

I enjoyed this a lot. The subs are great. On my main headphones (AudioTechnica) they were absolutely murderous! The bass line is fine to my ears
I have the same comment as last time, I'd like this to be longer.
Also, you're posting so much that it hard to even keep track. Aren't you ever worried that you're spreading yourself to thin? I think spending more time on finishing things would be a really big benefit to you.
Ha ha I know. I'm trying to finish tunes. I just excited when I make something I feel great about and want to share it! Anyways glad you're feeling it. I will go back to it this weekend or this evening I hope and try and progress it further!!!
Anyone else feeling it. Let me know. Cheers all!!!

I just picked up the unlimited thing for space. I can confirm that it provided me with additional space.
Good one! I may just drop Disney Plus and pay for it. Thinking about it!

Yeah, they've been nagging for money pretty much constantly for the last couple of years. Limited time offers are regularly extended, etc. Seems desperate.
Exactly my thoughts!!!

In the past I had it well I payed for it but not anymore. Get fuck all plays on Soundcloud and much more love on Youtube these days. Thoughts?

Getting the bassline to fit within all that(as well as it did, anyway) is what took most of my time. Glad you liked it!
Yeah I can imagine you did an excellent job!
