  1. YES! When I first heard it I spent about an hour trying to figure out where the melody/lyrics came from, I swore that I'd heard it before. I would love an entire release of this kind of unreal eccojams.
  2. Am I listening to the same album as everyone else? Nobody likes The Station? Toys 2? We'll Take It? Raycats? I agree that Manifold and Warning should have been longer though. Also, people are acting like this is "Arc" or something in terms of "avantgardeness" - I feel like this is the most accessible album he's made since at least before signing to Warp. The only part of the album that really doesn't do it for me are the last two songs, which just kind of sound pretty half-baked.
  3. Having heard the whole album now, I can't believe the tepid to negative reaction it's getting here. This is easily my favorite thing he's put out since Replica. People are saying that it sounds like a mess, but I think R Plus Seven was way more all over the place. Garden of Delete was great, but I love how everything here feels so casually tense and restrained whereas Garden of Delete was a lot more aggressive. Maybe I won't think so after a few listens, but I've never heard an album that's made me feel quite this way before.
  4. It's back on Soulseek. I've only heard the first 2 minutes so far, but this is already great stuff.
  5. I don't know guys, I don't think that's going to cut it. However you feel that she's being overdramatic or impersonating Sarah Palin, it's not up to us to decide what did or didn't traumatize her. Just because whatever he did wasn't as despicable as Roy Moore doesn't mean that he shouldn't be scrutinized or that we should dismiss this as a "ploy." That being said, I think that we can all agree that Roy Moore's lawyer on MSNBC is the either the greatest performance art or the most dramatic career suicide of 2017.
  6. Is anyone else still watching this? I thought the most recent episode was by far the best. I know that the time loop has been done to death on every sci-fi show imaginable, but I think this was probably my favorite use of it I've seen. Also I'm not a huge fan of them bringing Harry Mudd back, but I thought that Rainn Wilson's nailed it in both of the episodes he's portrayed him. It's definitely been a rough start to the show and I'm still not convinced it's ever going to reach the heights of the other series' best moments, but I certainly have hope now.
