Love this album! L10, LFIVE and Lacovset are new favourites, but there's a lot of other great tracks on here. A lot of AE NTS vibes, especially on tracks like NB AP, STMS and BS2. Didn't like the King Kashmere tracks before the album was released, but I've really warmed up to them, they make the album work better. It does lose some momentum towards the end, though. Effem feels like an out of place Plaid track or something.

Great mix, this might become a Fear Ratio favourite for me. Some beautiful tracks on here.

Yeah, can't wait to hear the set again (and the other one). Doubt my headphones or stereo will do justice to all that bass tonight. Quite a few next level bangers in there imo.
Didn't mind doing some seated dancing and head nodding - maybe even a slight improvement over the akward dancing to the 2016 set :)

Yeah, was wondering whether the first set also had all these pretty straightforward hiphop beats and the scratching. Had a lot of groove to it.
Had someone in the back row doing some erratic random clapping for like ten minutes in the last part of the second set, pretty weird.

Loved it, a lot (2nd show that is, anyone been to both?). Beautiful first track, fifteen minutes that were a bit tougher to process right away, and then this series of bangers.

^^ Resisting the click before Friday .....
.... talking of which: are folks here generally going to the first or second performance of the evening (or both). Hopefully see some of you there at the first one in either of the 2 main bar areas either before the performance, during the interview or after the show
Interview?

I'm always put off by TJ's macho posturing stage presence to the extent that it stops me from enjoying the set and makes me not want to listen to his music for quite a while.

Saw them at Dekmantel this weekend. Seemed like there were some fuckups or technical issues and they ended the set rather abruptly.

It's out and it's great!

Cheers! What's wrong with tomorrow is my favourite, but they're all great tracks and still keep revealing new nuances.
Also loving the first track of the new EP!

Really loved Ecstatic Computation upon first hearing it, then saw her live twice and was so underwhelmed that? I haven't listened to her music since

Yeah, 044 (Hilf Dir Selbst!) Is a masterpiecd, best release of 2021 for me

Masterpiece imo

The first performance will be at Primavera in about a month. I hope I can stop myself from listening to the bootlegs before I get to hear it live myself.
You can definitely hear the onesix set consists of multiple tracks, just not as eclectic as AE_LIVE 14/15.
Still hoping they'll announce new dates for twentytwentytwo...

What is there to see? Can't even see a preview without an insta account

Yeah I was planning to buy them seperately, but that would've cost about 4 times as much. Also a bit strange that Sessions II includes all of Sessions I.

Yeah, They Can't Be Saved didn't really work for me either. Light Box is a classic

A bit of a letdown for me

The 2020 Brussels gig is coming up this saturday, can't wait!

Hockeysmith, that was it! Hope at least that mix materialises soon.

How about some music.
Did that new afx track (in a mix by another Cornwall producer) ever materialise?

I'm nauseated by Lavrov's sheer gall, because he's not gone off the deep end like Putin, he knows exactly what he's doing, he's blatantly and brazenly lying in front of international press about war crimes perpetrated by invading/retreating Russian military forces. What an absolute cunt.
I'm not too sure Putin has gone off the deep end. But it is indeed sickening to see how deeply cynical the Russian regime has become (or has always been) in their total disregard for human life (including the lives of their own population and military) and for truth.
Quote“These are fakes that matured in the cynical imagination of Ukrainian propaganda,” Dmitry Medvedev, who served as president from 2008 to 2012 and is now deputy secretary of Russia’s Security Council, said.
“They were concocted for vast amounts of money,” Reuters quotes Medevedev saying.
Earlier Vyacheslav Volodin, the speaker of the lower house of parliament in Russia said: “The situation in Bucha is a provocation aimed at discrediting Russia. Washington and Brussels are the screenwriters and directors and Kyiv are the actors. There are no facts - just lies.”
Autechre. Live. Twentytwentytwo.

iirc, sean mentioned locations that still haven't been announced, so I'm hoping there'll be plenty of new dates in 2023
