i called it interesting course of action because they didn't do the usual "here is the explanation with adjectives we randomly pulled out of thin air and good luck making sense of it" statement

sure, I get your point and agree with it, as long as there is no appraisal side to it, they're just playing public image chess

    glad he still at it

don't know if i'd call this an interesting course of action. to me it just basically shows how cynical these pieces of shit usually are to the point of abusing people's empathy with victimisation dressed as a bout of "self-consciousness". Coffeezilla did a good job here, no mercy to these pricks

I would rather listen to brilliant music with a silly name by myself than utter shite with a cool name that you can impress your friends with.

if a name is meant to impress then I'm probably put off just as badly, but I guess I'd give it a bit more of a chance since it might not be trying so blatantly to fit in a memetized fad which, frankly, one could argue follows a similar pedantic acceptance pattern, just in a more hipster-sarcastic way

  4. after about 1 year relying on this to bypass my macbook's thermal throttling inferno, I can safely say this is maybe the most crucial of finds in terms of audio. if you're an irresponsible twat like me and like to fuck around with Acustica Audio or any other CPU intensive plugins you might want to give it a go. it absolutely saved my life. it's also free

it allows you to unlock multi-thread on any DAW or you can use it to resurrect old machines as high-performing slaves

    https://audiogridder.com/

AudioGridder Server runs on a computer hosting your effect and instrument plugins. On your workstation, on which you run your DAW, you use the AudioGridder FX or instrument plugin to access your plugin library over the network. The plugin is looking for available servers on your network and once connected allows you to create insert chains or load instruments. Midi and audio data from your DAW will be streamed over the network, processed on the server and streamed back.

I made a facebook group where there's a pretty decent amount of information on troubleshooting, optimal setups, etc. look it up

DSP56300 Emulator currently runs the Access Virus Synth in a vst but it's a cpu chomper.
there's a thread about it on KVR

but the DSP56300 emulator authors don't distribute the roms. Just the framework. It's like MAME I guess.
The roms are usually found in MAME rom bundles that seem to contain every rom in existence for some reason.
If a toaster or a refrigerator runs on a rom, it's probably in some MAME rom pack.

    did you get the emu?

Absolute powerhouse. Superb layout and sound engine. The best VSTi currently imho.

honestly, the built-in spread parameter is a touch of class. that alone makes trying it worthwhile
