Never heard of him either and when ever i hear someone is coming from africa i have an instant need to support them and was very excited to hear something new that ppl like but yeah ah i was not impressed unfortunately with this, ends-up-to-be, predictable uniqueness.

Autechre and aphex subforums have a lot of independent activity going on in them and are worth keeping. The others are pretty deserted. So maybe just keep those two? Adding new artist subforums is a lol. No other artists out there generate any more than one or two threads dedicated to them, do they?

i think i should have a subforum dedicated to my greatness.

I'd like a Freud reaction icon for posts that are full of sexual innuendos, tension, horniness, weird posts, dreams, or just as a dumb that's what she said joke.

It is very important to fix this as soon as possible. I promise I will use at least a couple of times. This will make me a very happy man, and I'll finally have done my part in changing the world for the better.

Thanks in advance. Let me know when it is ready. I know this will bring in a lot of younger hip people that will take vattern into the future, I can almost guarantee it.

it's just long and has endnotes. it's not "hard" it just takes time and you have to use 2 book marks

i figured it was something like this. reading infinite jest on a e-reader is seamless. the book is definitely one of my best art experiences i have had. And i loved every time Mario came by it was just a joy to read.

a random review/analysis of David Foster Wallace's Infinite Jest came up in my youtube feed and i'm trying really hard not to post a super mean comment about it because it's so fucking dumb. it's low views and people in the comments are praising the guy and i should want to take a huge dumb on it because it's so so so awful. he says infinite jest is the literary equivalent of a third eye blind album.  and calls it "peppy" in how it discusses addiction... wtf.

fuck it.. leaving my shitty comment. i can delete it later.

shit. i can't be this mean: if David Foster Wallace was still alive i think this analysis of infinite jest would be the thing that put him over the edge to make him kill himself. comparing infinite jest to music from third eye blind's is such a huge miss. i mean.. it's just absurd. it's like comparing a perfect cut diamond to sugary breakfast cereal. sorry. i know this sounds mean but dude.. please.. i'm bummed.

    video in spoiler

edited my comment to be less mean.

What do you love about this book and what is it about for you ?

And why do you think people define this book as a hard read?

But who will breastfeed you until 2081? Or is your gran involved somehow, sharing eternal youth with your mother? So many questions

I can't share these secrets on a public forum... But since you seem really special, I would like to invite you to my exclusive ranch where I teach a group of people how to become immortal. Don't be afraid it's actually really cute we all wear the same clothes and stuff. It has a small entry fee of 50 euros, and wives get free entry. Think about it I would love to have you at Wundertown

is this a niche request? why hasn't this happened yet? i think it'd be a funny way to troll kanye a bit. or make hitler fuck kanye or something. some edgelord on 4 chan has to be plugging away at all these things

    cant wait for AI therapy.

  7. This movie is hilarious i especially loved Javier Bardem, his character started feeling like it could of been a character in the life of brian.

it felt like after 30 min of the movie 99% of his lines started to consist of :

    "Like it was written""

    "prophecy"

    "lisan-al-gaib"

Especially the "like it was written" exclamation started feeling like it was some sort of meta humor and instead of referring to the in world prophecy it started to refer to the move script itself.

Also the way he delivered the lines with such honest surprise just started feeling like Javier was shocked that what was written in the script was actually happening in the movie.

I also couldn't stop laughing at the way Dave Bautista  kept screaming all his lines, like in the plane on their way to the fremen hideout where they got ambushed.

Thimothee's lines just kept being stoically whispered or shouted ???

    and the soundtrack was boring.

    desert looked beautiful thought.

i cant believe you said that to me, i will pray for you.

is dancing allowed at the event?

This reminds me of that time I went with my friend (who is not familiar with Autechre and just went with me because of our friendship) to his first Autechre concert. I wanted it to be a complete surprise for him, so I told him to not look anything up about them. I was so excited to experience his complete shock to these alien sounds. So, mise-en-scène, me and my friend standing in some ragged old building, high on molly, excited for the show to start, and the lights turn off, and music starts playing. After about ten minutes, I asked him what he thought of the music. He was completely blown away and thanked me for convincing him to go with me. This, together with the molly, gave me a profound feeling of euphoria, so I leaned over to my right and hugged him and squeezed his butt. I returned to my place, closed my eyes, and drifted away. After 30 minutes of darkness, a piercing red made me open my eyes; they had turned on the lights. I felt like Caravaggio's "Boy bitten by a lizard", completely frozen by the shock upon seeing my friend dancing. Before I could make him stop, the security tackled him and dragged him away. I started to profusely sweat. His screaming mixed with the hysterical crying of a man three rows up left me unable to think. Pretending I didn't know him, I started to mumble-sing Avril 14th to myself for comfort, while his voice slowly faded away. Tunnel vision made me unable to locate the exit sign. The lights turned off, and palinopsia seared the image of a woman giving birth into my vision.

pretty wild. so many scams w/spotify.

"a single Swedish composer, Johan Röhr, has amassed 15 billion streams on Spotify under at least 656 different artist pseudonyms."

I bet one of Johan Rohr's pseudonyms is Daniel Ek.
