35, which is not a surprise, because I am. I adjusted my answers towards the allistic, as I've taught myself how to human.
Doesn't everyone learn to human? Isn't that called growing up, learning how to socialize with your fellow human.

I'm obviously being hyperbolic, but the Moog fandom is pretty silly. When Bob Moog was still alive it made sense, but since he retired/died it's been just another mid size company with workplace issues that's adding on a big brand-recognition premium as far as I'm concerned. The DFAM seems cool, is too expensive.
I'm glad my theremin says Big Briar on the panel, not Moog.
I
agree

Now that Moog is a subsidiary of a big corporation, how are people going to complain about Behringer knocking off their overpriced, not-actually-made-domestically, assembled by people paid less han an entry level McDonalds employee (where I live; last I saw a help wanted sign on the McDonalds at the rest stop I go by every time I visit relatives entry level third shift was $15/hr) bloop boxes?
Hey
Rock on

One of the most unsettling dreams I've ever had was about some kind of worms that had burrowed into my skin. The part that stuck in my memory was I looked down at my arm and I could see like a shadow of the things moving around under the skin, not bumps but just shadows of them moving.
The most recurring dream I have is some variation of being in a hurry to try to get somewhere, usually I have to catch a plane or a ferry or something, and I spend the entire dream trying to get there. But I encounter all kinds of stressful obstacles along the way and never make it to the destination before I wake up. Or it's just a general sense of needing to get somewhere that always pervades whatever else is happening in a dream.
I don't remember my dreams very often but they're usually stressful. I can't remember the last time I had a pleasant dream tbh
Lol you just made me realsise all my recent dreams have had some form of escaping danger.
My latest dream consisted of me escaping zombie type thing and then i remember looking at a bird nest with dead baby birds and a mother bird trying to eat a rat. And then out of nowhere there came a woman trying to blind me by blowing air into my face with a bike pump type device. And then my parents laughing at me when i told them what happened.
Wtf does freud have to say about that?

I have been making music for a while yet i have never actually made anything i think is good. I find it really weird how making music leaves me frustrated and it takes a lot out of me yet i keep going back to it ?
Anyone else like this ?

just gonna add how weird it is to watch people walk past the man I described as if he doesn't exist, like literally just not even noticing. that said, I didn't approach him either; I don't think there was anything I could do to help this guy, he was truly in his own world, so I kinda get it.
Most people are afraid they will confront them with the crazies and then what. Or that they get aggressive.
Atleast i am i don't want to get beat up by a guy who thinks he is a motorcycle.

seriously tho...there is something to be said for an online community of mostly anonymous people, who for some reason feel the need to return to this site to post whatever is on their mind... it's some psychological outlet for a side of ourselves, which can't be expressed out there in the wild. THAT imo is what separates the social media stuff having faces/names right there easily identifying who you are vs. what a forum like watmm is. like on forums, you can still easily separate your avatar/username self from who you are IRL. whereas on FB/twitter/and the like, your IRL self gets dragged into the stupid ass internet la-la land, which can have actual repercussions back IRL (I'm thinking of people who make dumbass social media political posts, then get fired from their jobs IRL). that shit is way too intertwined, and psychologically will fuck someone's mental state up way too much... which imo, is another factor in leading the charge in the degradation of society. we weren't mentally built to handle this shit. stop! but we can't. addicted to information...so c'est la vie. let it roll. yadda yadda..
I am just banned everywhere else

This interview from Muzik Magazine in 1996 when Mike & Rich came out has a lot of interesting stuff in it, primarily because they just got Mike and Rich very drunk on vodka and recorded them bickering. I had the magazine when it came out and then for a very long time I don't think this interview was on the internet anywhere until the lannerchronicle re-published it:
https://lannerchronicle.wordpress.com/2020/08/02/the-odd-couple-mike-rich-interview-1996/
They essentially slag each other off quite a lot, in a laddish way but also in a way that you can see some of what they really think creeping in. And you get a sense of their personalities at the time. Lets just say that if you had to choose which one of them to be stuck in a lift with for six hours you'd definitely choose Mike.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Rich: “What’s up with you, Mike? You didn’t used to talk this much. I suppose the fame must have affected your personality.”
Mike: “No, I was just always quiet with you because you try to play games with people’s heads. You’re like a bully. And what you do with bullies is ignore them so they go away.”
...
Rich: “I don’t want to work with any electronic musicians for a while. But I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on you. Did you know that Mike’s girlfriend has an Aphex Twin tattoo on her ankle?”
Mike: “It’s only little.”
Rich: “I was thinking about it the other day, wondering how you are going to explain it when you kid asks, ‘What’s that on mummy’s leg?’.”
...
Mike: “You don’t do any promotion for the label. It’s crap.”
Rich: “What do you expect? We are just a couple of boys from Cornwall. We don’t know how to run a label.”
Mike: “Is that why people don’t know ‘Bluff Limbo’ has been re-released? And why you’ve sat on my best stuff?”
Rich: “We are waiting for Virgin to put money into promoting your next µ-ziq album before we release the older stuff.”
Mike: “Crap.”
Also has a picture of the famous tank.
lets cancel aphex twin
