I tried to recreate that Doepfer patch a couple of years ago. For recreational purposes.

sounds nice.  U have a midi file of that bass by any chance  ?

Btw whats the reason  u split it up to the left and right channel ?

  2. @brian trageskin Is there a reason u dont just pick up a daw and start making music? If seen u talk about music theory in other threads. U seem quite knowledgeable about and and seem to enjoy it. Or do you just enjoy learning the theory ?

Couldn't agree more.  With some very rare exceptions, the "painting myself into a corner" feeling multiplies exponentially the further I get into a track.  Thx for the notes.

I can tell when a note is going up or down, but identifying scales or chords is still beyond me for now.

Have you been making music for a long time ?

  3. This guy from airwindows plugins released a chart about bpms a couple of months ago that might be interesting.

I dont really know  what bpms work for what. Most of the time i just open my daw and start making music on the default bpm and regret it later.

i also always wonderd what those decimal bpms are all about like u see on syro. I always chalked it up to lining up breaks better.

  4.  I feel like there is some magic in being able to make a single melodic line work for an entire song, Maybe im just simple minded though. I really like the mix and sounds you used what do you use to make music ?

On an unrelated note how good are you guys at following a melody? Like follow if a note goes up or down.
