Funniest thing out of all of this was that the Behringer Cork Sniffer was also a rip off clone of another pedal

Yeah the antisemitic stuff seems to be a bunch of virtue signaling SJWs making a mountain out of a mole hill.
Also most punk rock thing I've seen today:

I read the comments so you don't have to. This pretty much sums my thoughts up:
QuoteI hope people aren’t forgetting that a global manufacturer, with 3500 employees, has literally painted a single independent journalist (one who has always reported on Behringer’s gear with balance, when has he done it vindictively?) as ‘lying pinnochio’.
They, a 3500-strong company, are calling a single independent journalist a LIAR, and on multiple occasions they have ridiculed the journalist’s own products on their social media. It’s bizarre, vengeful, childish behaviour.
I will never, ever buy this child’s toys again.

Why Is Behringer Attacking Peter Kirn?
The attack on Kirn appears to been the result of months of planning.
In January, Behringer announced that they’d trademarked the ‘Kirn’ name, and teased “Any clue what we have in mind with it?”
In addition to registering the trademark, Behringer created a caricature drawing, created a synth prototype, recorded a voiceover, filmed and edited a video and then promoted it on social media.
Ironically, this is more effort than they put into some of their actual product introductions.
Why would the head of one of the world’s biggest music technology manufacturers authorize a personal attack of this sort, let alone have his staff take the time – over several months – to make it?

I picked up the Expert Knob Twiddlers 2 disc re-release at a used music store over the weekend. Already had the digital download from Bandcamp but hey it was there might as well

I haven't heard any Aphex cover songs that I liked. I don't think electronic music cover songs are really good to begin with.
Remixes are a different story but afaik there aren't many remixed Aphex tracks. The ones on the WARP 10 compilation are the only ones that come to mind.

What an ass. Between copping the DevilFish and mocking CDM I'm glad I cancelled my TD-3-AM preorder. Fuck Behringer!

That is 2% of people who seek medical attention and get counted. Prob a lot of folks riding it out at home and not even making the stats of cases.

It would be p cool if the tracks were released as .xm files like in the olden days.
Keith303 was brilliant with trackers: https://files.scene.org/browse/music/artists/keith303/

He used FastTracker II back in the day, that's cool. FT2 + GUS was where it was at.

His videos are the most informative and least sensational I've found.
I don't take a lot of life seriously, I'm cynical and grew up on a diet of internet trolling etc but for real I'm concerned
Anyway back to African China cancel jokes

Oh, I thought that the HQ rips via fundraising thing was the one and only to get it officially. Wouldn't mind it though. Frankly, at the moment, I would be super glad if he released anything at all via bleepstore.
I _think_ he only said it would never be pressed again (if memory serves.) Hopefully that doesn't rule out a digital release in the future.

Revenge of the Rare Pics of RDJ creeper thread

Was fun to be a part of!

It’ll be an interesting market: You’ll be able to buy the fake 303 with the fake DevilFish mod or buy the fake 303 and send it in for a real DevilFish mod. There will be a few YouTube videos comparing the sound and features of the DF mods and a few gear nerd threads debating the merits. In the end none of these will ever end up used in music you actually listen to because the owners will be too busy hand wringing over their gear.

That symptoms comparison chart is useless, can't believe WHO signed off on publishing that.
Basically says, "Could be, never know!"
Edit: nvmd it just says sourced from WHO, not that it is from WHO
