He ripped the CD to the library on our store computer we play music off of at work and got a call the next day telling him to delete the files, even if they were just to play in the store and promote the album.
Pray tell, how did they know he ripped it? Did the watermark phone home?

I'm really really ridiculously excited for this.
Gonna try to not listen to any leaks/fakes before it's proper release. I can't promise I'll try, but I'll try to try.
Really hope it's a double album, and that the 2 discs are stylistically different (ambient-ish, recent-live-set-ish, hiphop-ish?)
Thing I like about Autechre is that other than it sounding like Autechre, we have no idea what to expect!
Over/under on this thread is 15 pages by March 1!

funny, as coincidence I was just listining to this today whilst reading a really interesting book on the nature of handedness (myself being a lefty). Fit the mood perfectly, tis indeed a brilliant ep

I've been trying to get into this album for about 8 months or so, and try as I may it just ain't happening. VI Scose Poise (great track to open an album), Pen Expers, and Uviol do it for me but that's about it. While I like the occasional mindphuk as much as the next Ae fanboy, the rest of the tracks are just wobbly, unnerving, and provide little-to-no listening enjoyment. My kudos to y'all who "get it."
I love pretty much everything from Amber thru LP5 (a effing brilliant album).

Fucking awesome this EP is. On the whole I think Ae did (does?) some of their best work in short form - Garbage, Anvil Vapre, the 1st Peel Session & Envane are personal favorites too. It's also interesting how well these EPs "connect the dots" between their full-length albums.
