    I don't think we have a serious disagreement either, but I also don't think there's the same level of disgust (not quite the right word but I'm juggling this, work, and Candy Crush at the same time) with the political process in people who identify as Democrat voters. I also think that a lot of people bought into the showman aspect of Trump (like Reagan and Arnie), and thought "Hey I like his movies/tv show, he might be the right guy!" I also agree the Democratic party needs to undergo some self-reflection, as there is a lot of corporate cock-sucking going on there as well. It's not just the memes that are dank, check your pants.

    I mean there are a lot of factors in that (the half the voting pop thing) - but luckily other people have done that writing for me, which is good cause ineed to go change my pants again. If Biden wins the popular vote but loses the election, then I suggest a hell in the cell match to determine the winner.

    I mean, it's absolutely valid to be critical of Biden while still maybe accepting that he is in fact the best choice at the moment for moving the dial (even if it's only slightly) in a more progressive fashion? I'll wet my pants whenever i feel like it, i've earned that right as an elder Gen-Xer.

    If you don't want to have the same fucking stupid discussion every two years (or whenever the shady southern europeans decide to slack off, or the dutch decide to be rude, or the germans arrogant) then yes, you should have European finance ministry that sets fiscal and monetary policy for the Eurozone. (also better integration makes it easier to implement policies like the GDPR, or AML directives).

    I read somewhere there might be a resurgence in SK though. Was talking to a friend who recently returned to South Korea, they put tracking apps on your phone and have to be in touch with a monitoring officer a couple of times a day for the duration of their quarantine (14 days). The possible resurgence in SK and Singapore, Hong Kong etc, could be cause by people coming in that haven’t had strict testing protocols in place...like most of North America and much of Europe.
