are any other nvidia owners having weird shit happening to them since the last couple (or more) driver updates? my screen flashes to black for a second or two seemingly at random (even while just idling on the desktop), and it's been happening more frequently since i started playing the witcher again. also "display driver has stopped responding" errors every now and then. i even tried to RMA the card (GTX 970) but they couldn't find anything wrong with it.
goddamnit, i just wanna play the witcher 3 without constantly having to worry about crashes or potentially damaging my gfx card.
maybe i should just give up gaming on PC all together. ffffffff

started playing witcher 3 again, reached the "final boss" of this dungeon/quest with no food left, broken armor/weapons and no potions or ways to heal myself. almost rage quit several times before finally beating him on the 20th try or something. not sure if i suck or if it's that im only level 6.

i liked it, the utter insanity of the whole thing almost made it feel like an unintentional dark comedy.

installed the new witcher patch and suddenly everything works flawlessly. keyboard controls are still shit though, so might start using the 360 gamepad instead.

all of them have always been buggy as shit. also, weird jerky character controls / movements.
i'll give the game another go though for sure, but going from the perfect-in-every-way masterpiece that is PC GTA 5 to witcher 3 felt a bit underwhelming.

played witcher 3 for a bit. crashed to desktop twice and showed artifacts a couple of times. im on a brand new i7 4790k / 16gb ram / gtx 970. fucking goddamnit.

watched the first two seasons of orphan black. first i didn't like it, then i sorta liked it and then it felt like it wasn't going anywhere. i read somewhere that they're aiming to do 8 seasons ..not sure i'd last that long. then again, im still watching the walking dead.

some of the worst, most ridiculous looking costume, character and set designs i've ever seen. there's no consistency whatsoever. shit's just all over the place. every action scene is on par with transformers in terms of shaky camera, and it's impossible to see what's going on. millions of dollars spent on crazy expensive cgi, and everytime something went down i felt like looking away from the screen until it was over. it didn't really have an ending either, and not like in an open ended way, im sure the film makers believe it has an ending, but by the end you have no idea what happened to half of all the characters the movie spent 2 hours introducing. i feel kinda bad for mila kunis and channing tatum for having been involved with this.
