  1. I thought it flowed beautifully, although there was one jarring transition, can't remember where though. I was so in love with it, despite this. Maybe I just played it one too many times last night... I'm gonna keep an open mind, and hope for the best. It's just frustrating, when you're REALLY into a track, and the volume just fades out....... and... wtf happened?? I was LISTENING TO THAT!!!!!
  2. These tracks are ALL too short, and the editing is horrible. It almost makes their creativity work against them, with the average track length at about 3 1/2 minutes!! Why aren't these tracks given time to develop and sink in? They're great tracks otherwise. Oh well, I guess I'm just fucked.
  3. re-read that, I'm sure you know it to be untrue. If anything their mythos has made it so their music is taken over-seriously, look at twoism. the Dolores recording does have some wind interference but is decent otherwise. For consistency's sake I'm assuming you also raised a stink over people judging the quality of the Old Tunes tracks from casette rips? Oh that's right, nobody raised a stink, because the quality of the music shines through anyway. Edit: if you only want to hear praise, I'll say this: Palace Posy is a standout track. shitty cassette rips are a world away from recording made on a phone of music coming out from speakers like twenty feet away with desert wind in between.Yep. No comparison. I've gotten a sense of the album from the 50 minute waterpark recording as well. It's gonna be dope as fuck, and with the details audible it will sound so much more interesting. i think he was joking Joking? I agree with him. You can't say a cassette rip is AS bad as a cellphone recording of monitors 20 feet away. Who was joking?

  5. you aren't missing much. I even hate most movies. Most, not all. Anyways, good for you.

  6. That's what Pop music is. Eventually, money ruins the art. It always finds a way, and it's not a good thing.
  7. I couldn't agree with you more. Don't be ashamed, it's true. You don't want a million people loving them for the wrong reasons. It ruins it.
  8. If the album lives up to this, I will be a very, VERY happy fan. Nice review! (I hope)
  9. I'd love it if Norman Records put up samples of each track like what happened with Exai.
  10. I must admit, I've watched that teaser several times, daydreaming. I fucking love it.
  11. And I'm not delusional enough (yet) to think that they were hard at work for eight years on an album. They probably took a long break, and raised kids or some shit. I just don't think they'd have the balls to give us a bad album after such a long wait, and all the silence. Campfire Headphase is not a "bad" album. It was just not a very serious one.
  12. The album will be beautiful, dark, and sinister. They won't give us another "Campfire" after that eerie promotion and an 8 year wait. They would NOT do that to us.
  13. this "article" says the album will be released in Australia on June 7th through Inertia. WTF is that about? Anyone? http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/1560063/boards-of-canada-return-with-tomorrows-harvest The Inertia website says June 7th. http://www.inertia-music.com/2013/04/news-boards-of-canada-to-release-highly-anticipated-new-album-tomorrows-harvest-this-7th-june/
