  1. Thanks! The amp is actually a McIntosh MC 2505, with a Burl walnut cabinet that I had custom made for it back when I used to drink heavily LOL.. It cost me a fortune to have done, but there it is.
  2. Canned octopus. First time I've had it, and it's fucking delicious.
  3. The percussion and the tempo is absolutely perfect.
  4. Always been my favorite track by BoC, or by anyone for that matter. My favorite track of all time.
  5. Here's one... Near Mint with free shipping... in the U.S. only I suppose, but that's a good price when you consider the poor condition copies on Discogs priced around the same. Hope this helps. (NOT my auction) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Time-Machines-Coil-034-Time-Machines-034-CD-039-98-Eskaton-Psychic-TV-Current-93-ELpH-/181273966521?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276
  6. A usb in a freakishly nice pewter case. I'm in. And who knows how they've used the storage? This could be incredible.
  7. You didn't come to the U.S. for your Oversteps tour. Was there a reason, and will you likely be coming back to D.C? Please do...
  8. sounds way better. I had always assumed it was supposed to sound sort of.. muffled.
  9. Interesting. gonna compare this to the vinyl rip I had.
  10. fuck. when my eyes hit this post, I thought for a glimpse you were saying it got a vinyl repress.
  11. the Plasticity album is a stone cold classic. I have the 2xLp version I was obsessed with that record for a few years.
  12. weird i think it's an awesome track Definitely my favorite on the EP.
  13. How do you choose a track out of 32GB of music with standard buttons (no touchscreen/no wheel)? If that's no problem, this looks like a nice alternative, I really like the design and the small monochrome display. The artists names get listed alphabetically. I scroll down by holding the button, and choose one. The next screen has you select the album, then the track name if necessary. I can't think of anything easier, you don't need a touchscreen on an mp3 player.
  14. My Rocoo and Audio Technica combination is the best setup I've ever used. Going strong for over 2 years, and I have had zero problems. Currently using a 32gb micro SD, but could use a 64gb if I felt the need. The sound is incredible, and it uses an extremely powerful amplifier for an mp3 player. Form factor wise it's perfect for me. I like it because I don't need to pull it out of my pocket to change the volume, skip tracks etc.. because of the simple protruding buttons on the front which control everything. The UI is extraordinarily simple, which I find also a plus.
  15. wish I knew why every pic I upload to this forum is so small. Sorry.
  16. an entire box of organic slightly over ripe strawberries, and a half a can of lightly sea salted whole cashews, all washed down with a liter of San Pellegrino. I had a craving for this combo and it worked.
  17. I find that this album doesn't comfort me in the ways that MHTRTC and Geogaddi did. It doesn't lift my mood as well... if I come at the record already in a good frame of mind, it's a great listen. If I want something to sort of lift me up, it doesn't really work. This is just me perhaps, but MHTRTC always got me feeling finer than a motherfucker.
  18. that would be awesome. but I don't have high hopes seeing how long it took them to squeeze this out. there's always a little secondary poop after a huuuuuge long-brewer. Hope they ate their veggies.
  19. If an EP should come, I would definitely prefer that it drop out of nowhere. Just an email in my box saying "new EP from Boards of Canada- out now". It's a fantasy, but it could happen, and for the reason Jules mentioned. Certain tracks probably just didn't fit in with the theme of the album.
  20. yeah they've obv matured... i miss breaking my neck to boc fat beats... but these days i'd probably pull something so it's just as well. maybe there's something less "concept" in the pipeline. I'm fully expecting an ep.
