  1. i just took the effort to fill it out, and the site won't process my results. i don't feel like doing it again, but i did do it months ago, and my score was def that of a normie. i'm pretty sure it was somewhere around 10, give or take maybe 4 points.

edit- which only goes to show that you dont need assburgers, to be a ass.

  2. Yeah, that's what I'm talkin' about. Spam musubi is the tits. It's easy to make, too. Just slice up Spam and sautee it in soy sauce and sugar in a skillet for a few minutes. Then put it on a rice nugget big enough to fit the Spam slice. Finally, wrap a strip of nori around it and you're good to go. That's the "nigiri" form, anyway.

that sounds possibly tasty and now i'd like to try it. i need to start eating rice more often.

anyway i have a wordpress page, and i get lots of spam there. lots of them are generic comments saying they like my article but without saying anything in detail which make them easy to spot right away, but some are really elaborate and don't even seem to be trying to get me to do anything. some won't have a link to click or anything, and sometimes it makes me wonder if it's a case of some kind of runaway spambot programs that were started up a decade ago and were forgotten but just kept going and will go on forever, spamming just because thats all they know how to do. soul-less spam robots.

anyway here's one of the more interesting ones i just got

A palace is a luxurious residence, noticeably a viscountess residence or the home of a headmaster of state or some other high-ranking superstar, such as a bishop or archbishop.] The data itself is derived from the Latin name Palatium, looking for Palatine Hill, bromide of the seven hills in Rome

A castle is a notable abode, predominantly a viscountess habitation or the diggings of a headmaster of circumstances or some other high-ranking big wheel, such as a bishop or archbishop.] The data itself is derived from the Latin rank Palatium, proper for Palatine Hill, one of the seven hills in Rome

A palatial home is a respected castle, notably a royal habitation or the home of a administrator of governmental or some other high-ranking lady muck, such as a bishop or archbishop.] The data itself is derived from the Latin name Palatium, looking for Palatine Hill, a woman of the seven hills in Rome

A palatial home is a luxurious residence, noticeably a viscountess habitation or the make clear of a head of voice or some other high-ranking dignitary, such as a bishop or archbishop.] The word itself is derived from the Latin superstar Palatium, fit Palatine Hill, a woman of the seven hills in Rome

and it goes on. is this some kind of code that's supposed to trigger my manchurian sleeper-assassin programming?

but my favorites have always been these ones where it just seems like a random poetry generator program. the robots are going to have to do a lot better than this if they want to be able to ever pass as humans to get close enough to stab us with their cyber-blades:

Weighty Gloomy could be enduring just been a gathering of chipboards and wires but they made it look fantastic.

It looked spooky and far-out like something loophole of 2001, a outstanding, black, supercool stony drive

Abstruse Titillating could have well-grounded been a cluster of chipboards and wires but they made it look fantastic.

It looked scary and exciting like something missing of 2001, a huge, menacing, supercool severe pilot

WTF DOES THAT MEAN? i don't know but i kinda dig it. sometimes i think about saving those to assemble into a book of spoetry.

  3. have to admit that the track sounded better when i cranked it in my car. i still think its kinda boring. the creepy bell sounds might be the best part, but the beat is nice too and theres a synth line i like also. it still needs to be more progressive and less focused on shitty lyrics for me to care about this guy again.

  4. the cover is pretty cool, at least best since tds. the track had some kind of potential but i think since with teeth my problem is the simplicity of the arrangements. if he's going to go from the complex multi-layered beast that was the fragile and do simplistic, repetitive pop style compositions, he should at least have SOMETHING in there that's groundbreaking. if his voice is going to be so prominently featured and the tracks are going to hinge on it so much, why not try to get into harmonies more like he did with all the love in the world? why not have a 'solo' type moment somewhere in the track where it comes a bit off the rails and gets a bit dangerous? instead everything is just so perfect and neat and tidy and controlled and utterly boring. the stuff that is there is ok but there needs to be some progression or some chaos along with it.

  5. Or you know what else could make a great political album? If the economy HADN'T been fixed. Or even worse/better- if it actually got WORSE than it was ~4yrs ago.

OR dig this- what if it turned out...

that we were living in a totalitarian style world where all communications are being observed by our government?

like everything we say over the phone, every text message, everything? wouldn't THAT be a nightmare? think of the album THAT could make!

too bad we don't have all/any of that stuff going on.

but this track about rez being haunted, i'm sure that's... pertinent

    to something

    somehow?

maybe there's some kind of problem with ghosts that we all need to be made aware of?

  6. well i wonder what he has left to write about for this album, since, in his own words, obama has come along and made all of his political statements on his more recent outings 'obsolete'? too bad there aren't any wars, violations of civil liberties/freedom of speech, religious fanatics causing problems, or presidential abuses of power for him to write about.

or like, could you imagine an alternate world where obama hadn't led the world to nuclear disarmament like he did right after taking office, landing him that nobel prize? then we might be in a world where nuclear weapons going off was a concern. and THAT might make a great plot to a protest album. what a shame. :(

  7.

heh, you disagree with my cult of reality ?!

    isn't the picture lovely ? hehehe .. ;-]

what makes you think that what you believe in is the real reality ? just because it contradicts mainstream conceptions ?

the picture and its timing is great, obviously.

that america is the root of all that is evil IS a mainstream conception.

  8. one thing i can like about prometheus is that even though i haven't seen it, from the descriptions i've read, it looks like it shows how retarded and pointless symbolism can really be. i'm not saying it always is, but so many artists in any field over-use symbolism as if it instantly gives more depth to their work, and 9 times out of 10 it just doesn't. it's just dumb.

so i hope at the very least that the new blade runner highlights how dumb something else i don't agree with is.

  9. i will agree that your comparison to ae and exai is kind of fair, in the sense that the music and composition is held together fairly loosely, and there is a kind of randomness a lot of times with little holding it together. i guess this would be where my distaste for his whole image, aesthetic, and style would come into play. i could say a lot about this but don't feel like it at the moment.

i don't see how it could be said that vsnares is music where any more of his personality is coming through than any other particular stuff though, including ae. but even aphex or squarepusher or whoever, their personality is in their stuff to some degree, and i don't see there being any more of that with vsnares at all. i dont see how you get lots of personality into really fast blizzards of drum samples or amen breaks that pitch up and down. i think the aphex catalog actually has tons more personality in it but, whatever. i mean, it all becomes a matter of opinion in the end i guess.

i think some of this stuff is stuff that you almost can't get so much better at though. like having a knack for melody or something. and i've heard at least one track by vsnares that to me seemed like a clear attempt at creating his own version of 'nannou', but just sounded so empty. nannou to me sounds like a piece of musical perfection. the vsnares track was clearly trying to evoke the same type of emotional response, and it just sounded like a pale imitation made by a person with no sense of melody but who knows how to put a bunch of nice sounds together. to me that clued me in that i'm not going to ever have a moment where his stuff clicks with me. his melodies sound random. you can walk over to a keyboard right now, and plunk on maybe 5 different keys at random and chances are you could use them in a melody, maybe even use some of them in the exact random order you picked them. i don't know if this is how vsnares composes melody, maybe he actually considers each note, but to me it sounds like he may as well be randomly picking every note. there is no thematic impact. ever.

  10. almost vsnares entire catalog sounds like high tempo patterns that constantly mutate with no real aim or guidance, and someone randomly flipping through the drum sounds being used while it plays out. ok the drum switching isn't entirely random. tbh i think his sound design is pretty good, and i think his mixing is pretty good. i just don't like any of his 'music'. maybe two or three times in each of his millions of 20minute long spastic freakout tracks, there will be a moment i DO like, and it will last less than 2 seconds, then go into something else that i hate.

  11. i'm drinking REALLY bad whiskey, and i'm the one that bought it. for myself.

worst whiskey i've ever had was j.t.s. brown which i bought to try to be cool like Fast Eddie Felson. i ended up being the opposite of cool. it's cheap. i got the bottled in bond vers which is 100proof and i think a buck more than regular which is 80proof. maybe the 80proof doesn't taste AS horrid but i actually couldnt finish that bottle and had to give it away to a guy who actually drank it and claimed to like it.

best cheap stuff i've ever had was black velvet, which to me seemed at least on par with JD black label.
