  1. no candy?? the album is candy. Each to their moan. It's all good mate. have a nice day. ;-] thx bro, i needed the assurance.
  2. you gotta select 'yes' in the field where it says "Show out of stock titles:" ..it should work
  3. as tregaskin is [part of] the tuss, it's understandable that he's annoyed at all the attention monolith's getting.
  4. some of the synth timbres (at parts) strongly recall the metz track. funny how this dude achieves the same sound/texture palette as tuss music, etc. it sounds great..
  5. what is the bubbles risin to the surface-sound he uses on all the tracks?
  6. it sounds like AFX, but like instant AFX w/no body.
  7. it sounds like TUSS legos put together by an able party
  8. are most vinyl releases not pressed with digital information nowadays?
  9. guillotine vid is good
  10. http://www.dustedmagazine.com/reviews/5577 this was posted a couple weeks ago. a bit better review than the pitchfork bit
  11. Agree totally...the end of that song is just awesome... i got the sense that sublimit was considered the ultimate (not just the final) track on untilted, as far as epics go. does pro radii get more frequent "ratings?" back to oversteps, treale could use more variation in the beat. to what extent do you think the arpeggiated melodies on treale are generative? deliberate? not a lot of talk about harmonic overtones, their accumulation and presence (melodic wash), on tracks like see on see, redfall, krylon, and the like. Feels like there's importance placed on these resultant, harmonic clouds. Am I ever gonna warm to the clean metallic chimes on O=0?
  12. likewise. this was my first favorite, too found a pre-set on Logic Pro's ES2 synth that is strikingly similar to the distorted sounds of 'st. epreo'. it's the warped synth: "feed back" setting. nice! *checks out right now* i had the octave set to zero on the CAPSLOCK keyboard thing. that synth is pretty remarkable, though. just getting acquainted with it

  14. the album mix/production, its elegance, spaciousness and quality of sounds, reminds me of later supersilent records. 'r ess' could almost pass for a supersilent track.
  15. yeah, i can appreciate crispness and detail, but a bad track is not gonna improve with clarity. i have a copy of anvil vapre @ 48 kbps. second peng is still a bangin' track/doesn't sound like a chunky .gif
  16. so so wrong bro, you need to get yer ears checked there's a whole other world in the 24-bit versio yeah, i keep hearin' all about it. dunno if you're being sarcastic. honestly, i thought the .m4a was stunning in headphones. been playing the high-res waves today, the clicks in r ess have more physical presence in the room. re: same-y ness. i falsely anticipated treale again after track 12
  17. funny how any substantial critique (has there been any?) gets brushed aside or dismissed as faulty. i think 'treale' goes on far too long with too little variation (though the melodies are nice). the beat is tiresome in its regularity. the scattered embellishments are nice but seem too infrequent/cosmetic. 'ilanders' gets skipped a lot, as it sounds great on the surface but fails to register beyond the nice woozy textures. 'r ess' is fuckin nice, tho and yeah, you can hear more in the .wavs, but it's not some wholly new experience... say the .m4a w/crossfades was a dirty, neglected automobile. in this rough analogy, the .wavs are the same car, thoroughly detailed, and tuned up. it's still the same fucking car.
  18. the wire review is one of the few refreshing things i've read here, with all of the quibbling over track times, legitimacy of the leak, and the sound quality. thanks for posting it!
  19. i get a nice, sort of serene evening vibe from Pt2ph8. like a desert-scape at dusk mood, with native american undertones. i like the relaxed tempo. haven't seen this track really talked about yet
  20. is the vinyl box a limited thing? will there be a U.S. distribution? can't really rationalize dropping $60 for an LP (even a 2XLP + digi snacks)
  21. treale (beat) does get repetitive. maybe it's ok if i don't focus on the beat? does it have similarity to rale? in its basic beat
