those are really nice
would be better imo though if they used the pics richard posted with some tracks as backgrounds

I got the deleted "4 Red Calx" in 320kbps with frequencies up to 20khz. If you speed up "4 red calx[slo]" by exactly 100% into half the time, the timing matches up 100% perfectly. I assume rich did the reverse to make his slow.
I don't know if I'll keep this modified version myself, seems kind of like blasphemy. What do you guys think?
tl;dr
320kbps of the deleted 4 Red Calx by speeding up 4 red calx[slo] by 2x. Do they match up perfectly?

Only some of them aren't any better.
From my random sample of like 5 pairs if files, GPO Beat and 21 Vtnm2 are both way better (up to 24khz etc)

Listen to 7 cutting off soundcloud
Then listen to this and tell me it's not richard
-
does anyone else think 7 ∂ƒ∆ sounds like a precursor to syro's japanese bonus track
-
Haven't seen '7 Cutting' mentioned at all. Anybody else a big fan of it?
It vaguely reminds me of one of my favourite Aphex songs, 'Freeman, Hardy and Willis Acid', with that piercing snare and the monolithic bass underneath everything.
its one of my favorite tracks
reminds me of steinvord - untitled. i think its proof rdj is steinvord tbh
-
just to confirm before i download for ease of use
are these the exacttt files? you havent modified them in any way at all?
-
how the hell do you guys have time to download and upload all of these tracks - im still not even halfway done downloading with such slow internet. so jel
-
if he continues like that we'll have 24 bit .wavs this time next saturday (6pm)!
there will be an order form for free 24bit vinyls, you pay shipping and plastic fee
-
seems the original files do indeed have the track numbers in the title tags in most cases
good fight people who wanted to remove them
-
I think 28 organ is one of the most harmonically rich tracks I've ever heard from rdj. Been messing with it on a break at work and it sounds like it starts off in Bb, modulates to Db at 3:40, E at 5:30, and finally ends up in B minor from 6:25 to the end. 6:25 onward is practically baroque style voice leading. Absolutely beautiful stuff.
wish i knew what any of this meant
oh well ill just listen and enjoy lol

luke vibert remix [future music competition remix] beginning
-
always misread GPO Beat as GOP Beat and imagine mitt romney dancing to it
-
Sorry if covered already. This newly uploaded Vibert Remix is brand new to ppls ears right? As its not the track that won the competition?
it is the track that won the competition, and it is also brand new to our ears
that other one we thought won the competition (scirem) is just some other random rdj track that had nothing to do with the competition
-
ive still not even given CCAIp2 the listen it deserves because of this
time to get on that
-
I'm confused... so there was a competition, and noone knows or has heard which track won?
=/
yeah lol what
why would the competition be so secretive
-
Where did he comment "the rest will be 320" which I read earlier. Can't find it

luke vibert remix is amazing
think most of that might be because of how good the original is lol, but the remix is also special itself
