Just started (well, put a couple of hours into) Fez - I'm a little overwhelmed at the moment by the whole map size
Don't let it knock you out. It took me a while to get the map, but all of a sudden it all made sense and I have no idea why.
What's not to understand? Cubes are rooms, lines connect rooms.
I didn't really like Fez. At all. I even wrote a few paragraphs on why it's not a good game, maybe I'll translate it and post it here some day.
-
i didnt know about this cube untill yesterday and its the lamest marketing shit ive ever seen thanks (why do people still pay attention to molyneux?)
lol yeah, the prize is a share of Godus' sales and profits plus deciding on the rules and stuff, aka being the "God" of Godus.
-
Molyneux's Curiosity is nearing its end
He said whatever's inside the cube will change the life of whoever finds it, and it's a free app plus there's a fuckload of people in there now

On first listen, it's their darkest, most dystopian record, sonically cluttered and a million miles away from the sentimental reverie of MHTRTC...
I don't care how dark it is compared to Music Has, I want to know how dark it is compared to Geogaddi. Get your shit straight, reviewers

i wanna like kanye. lots of hip hop nerds love him and think he's the shit. but every time i give his records a shot it just sounds to me like some of the worst, cheesiest elements from like a shitty journey record combined with broke ass beats.
yep.
and like SpanishGuy said, his self absorbed "I'm the black reincarnation of jesus" attitude just makes me want to smash his face regardless of whether his music is shitty or not.
I didn't say anything lol, that was Ceerial. All I've heard from the yeezy is that Power track and the South Park episode. Gay fish, yo

What's that in the cover? Aluminium foil?

It drives me mad, those videos of people whispering or talking like the girl on OPs post. The sound of the saliva and the subtle *shrck pwsh* really gets on my nerves

We should write our own version of Random Access Memories with our own interpretation of the track titles.
It should be called Doin' It Right

I wonder how's the japanase bonus track like. No wait, I don't , it's going to be like the rest of the album

does anyone know if you can buy The MAXX in one large paperback?
Apparently not, you gotta buy the 6 paperbacks

I also love the epilogue where he describes the book's accuracies and inaccuracies.
It's crazy, he checked wheather reports from the 19th century to see if it rained this or that day in order to portray the story accurately.
I left The Walking Dead at the 15th paperback, the story was getting pretty boring and I can't stand Adlard's art. If only Tony Moore would have stayed in the series... sigh

yea, that reminds me of that interview with that one producer who seemed to think that recording instruments was a new thing. and that he was blown away that you mic a snare and a kick, etc.
That interview seems pretty lol worthy, if you find a link you know what to do
-
You know, at least Human After All wasn't this boring

Got back into Grand Theft Auto IV because I stopped playing it for a while and didn't finish it. Trying to get the almost impossible 100% completion.
If you're trying to get all the online trophies, you're pretty much fucked. If you're just trying to 100% the single player, it's not that hard.

The BoCset would be heavy as fuck tho, P&P costs would add a few dozen bucks

1. Untilted
2. Exai
3. LP5
4. Chiastic Slide
5. Quaristice
6. Incunabula
7. Amber
8. Tri Repetae
9. Draft 7.30
10. Confield
11. Oversteps
Untilted, Exai, LP5 and Chiastic Slide are albums I listen to in a consistent basis and I find enjoyable from start to finish.
Quaristice is an album whose enjoyment depends heavily on my mood, but when the time's right it's a blast
Incunabula and Amber are OK, a pleasant listen but they don't move me in the way other Ae albums do.
Tri Repetae, Draft and Confield are praiseworthy but I hardly ever listen to them from start to finish, but rather selected tracks every now and then.
And Oversteps' got 3 good tracks at the beginning and then zzzzzzzz

I always skip Flep. Fuck Flep.
same, only one I don't like on the whole double album.
I meant to ask a while back if you ended up liking the album?
I love Exai. It's their best since Untilted, and their most enjoyable since EP7. There's a good portion of Ae's music that I find praiseworthy, original, and innovative, but not enjoyable; but that's not the case with Exai. It's a really fun album, in a sense.

Duh, I posted the same fwp twice. How embarrasing

I learnt today that you should never lend stuff to mentally unstable, inmature ex-girlfriends because you might not see your stuff again
-
I lent my ex-girlfriend a book and she's not willing to give it back to me. Lesson learnt: do not lend stuff to mentally unstable or immature people.

I don't like that Blow guy. He made one meh puzzle game and has been acting like the king of the industry ever since.
Max Payne 3 > Braid
I don't know if Blow is a cunt or not, but Braid was definitely better than meh.

The artwork is an obvious Downward Spiral throwback.
I think the only NIN I've ever heard is The Downward Spiral and Fixed/Broken EPs. I've been listening to those consistently for years, but I never got around to listening the rest of his stuff. I tried listening to Pretty Hate Machine but never made it past the first 4 or 5 tracks. I've never even listened to The Fragile. Maybe Downward and the EPs are all the NIN I need
