Guest Diao Posted July 17, 2006 Share Posted July 17, 2006 I've decided to take a massive step backwards and buy an Atari 1040 ST. Right now I'm running ReNoise as a sequencer, but I'm slowly moving towards having an etirely hardware setup. My problem with ReNoise is that on the PC I find too many distractions and whatnot. Guest yan_g Posted July 20, 2006 Share Posted July 20, 2006 yeah 3 voices :) teach you how to get to the essential *only*. pretty good exercise. i think you'd better run an external sequencer and user several ataris at once if you want more than 3 voices although i'm not a specialist. Remember the rhyme: If you pay money for an Atari ST for MIDI sequencing. Make sure that that Atari ST has a generous amount of ram. At least 2mb, at best 4mb. Oh wait this rhyme doesn't rhyme.
