Looking for a tracker for Atari 1040

I've decided to take a massive step backwards and buy an Atari 1040 ST. Right now I'm running ReNoise as a sequencer, but I'm slowly moving towards having an etirely hardware setup. My problem with ReNoise is that on the PC I find too many distractions and whatnot.

Anyway, I love the tracker interface that ReNoise offers, and I was curious if there were any trackers out there for the 1040.

i've been thinking of doing this too....

how are logic and cubase on the atari?

anyone know?

i'm not really a tracker-er....but would like to exploit the chippy goodness.

These trackers look find and dandy, but do they only offer 3 different tracks at once? I'm going to have up to 6 different machines needing to be MIDIed up to this program, so am I going to have using something like Cubase?

the 520ste can actually run stuff decently?

what are you using on it?

520's are even cheaper...

Mine has 4mb of ram. I have a 520stfm too but it cant store as many notes because of the lack of ram

pm if youre interested in getting some stuff

yeah 3 voices :) teach you how to get to the essential *only*. pretty good exercise. i think you'd better run an external sequencer and user several ataris at once if you want more than 3 voices although i'm not a specialist.

Fantastic chip editors (trackers) there..

Remember the rhyme:

If you pay money for an Atari ST for MIDI sequencing.

Make sure that that Atari ST has a generous amount of ram.

At least 2mb, at best 4mb.

Oh wait this rhyme doesn't rhyme. Gay, weak, lame.
