logboy Posted September 20, 2007 Share Posted September 20, 2007 never really worked for me as a film. oddly, even though it's a commercial mash, 'beat street' has the tone of the times in places, at least it's the only film beyond 'style wars' to remind me of what hip-hop felt like in the early 80s.
