They don't have a story to begin with, just stare at the characters' stupid hair and stupid facial expressions and remark how "kawaii" it all is. I'm really bad with names so I always get all the names mixed up when I watch movies. Yeah, exactly. Names I'm really bad at and to reply to 'my usernames always really suck'; It's not just Japanese films. I'm not too bad at horror movies since they are more visual and less about the story usually.
