Most of the time when I'm watching a film, I find it hard to understand what's going on.

 

I think I get lost in the visual choreography and I also usually don't understand how directors explain the story.

Guest my usernames always really suck

If it's Japanese movies, then it isn't your fault. They don't have a story to begin with, just stare at the characters' stupid hair and stupid facial expressions and remark how "kawaii" it all is.

I know how you feel. I'm really bad with names so I always get all the names mixed up when I watch movies.

Yeah, exactly. Names I'm really bad at and to reply to 'my usernames always really suck'; It's not just Japanese films.

 

I'm not too bad at horror movies since they are more visual and less about the story usually.

 

I'm a huge fan of the now finished Sopranos but even then I didn't know half the characters names.

I'm sorry, that statement only makes sense in the extended edition of WATMM. It feels out of place here because of complicated editing reasons.
