yeah like them a lot. the morningrise ep is pretty amazing, pick that up. neil halstead is an underrated songwriter.

i like their pygmallion album pretty much... souvlaki is cool... i don't think i ever got into just for a day... there's a cool little remix ep of in mind that has ambient techno type of remixes!

reload did one of the remixes!

That's iffy. My favourite MBV ep is probably You Made Me Realise... Slow/Thorn is just a one-two punch of awesomeness. But to be honest with you I really love all their early-early stuff, I'm a big twee/C86 fag so it all fits together quite neatly.

As a result of this thread I'm now listening to This Is Your Bloody Valentine for the first time in a while. Like most early MBV, this probably isn't that great in the Grand Scheme Of Things but I quite like this style of music anyway, and it is giving me a big boner.

What's MBV's worst song? I really don't like Moon Song that much. No More Sorry used to get on my tits, mainly down to the singing, but I don't mind it so much these days. A lot of people hate on Touched, Colm's track from Loveless, but I've always quite liked it.

back on track: anyone get the reissues of slowdive's albums when they came out? i'm gonna pick up pygmalion but does it have any extra stuff on it? the just for a day reissue is nice, it's got the ep and some peel sessions on it.

pygmalion is just the album proper...but its worth it.

i gave all my original editions to a friend who said he liked one slowdive song....i think hes hooked now.

yeah the original of that album is hard as hell to find and really expensive. i love that album.

neil halstead put out a nice little folk solo album a few years ago, it's not bad. sounds nothing like slowdive obviously but the guy can write a song.

I feel ashamed about not owning any of Slowdive's records

I am planning on grabbing Souvlaki and Pygmalion. I still need to give "Just a Day" a spin.

For some weird reason, I always play Souvlaki and Seefeel's Quique back to back

My favourite MBV ep is probably You Made Me Realise...
