To be honest, I am not sure...I think it did so well that they figured "we better keep taking advantage of this while we still can." Why is this not the case with l4d? from my knowledge.. they felt the gameplay needed a major update. in l4d2 you wont be able to really sit in a corner and camp. you will be required to move around more and used more teamwork. but i agree.. they should release a DLC or something instead of a whole new game - but it will be worth it. i cant wait for the second one. Rubin Farr Posted September 22, 2009 Share Posted September 22, 2009 they are still going to release DLC for L4D1 bc of all the angry gamers who do not want a $60 upgrade every 12 months, myself included. kinda like paying full price for Halo 3 ODST, which comes with all of the multiplayer maps from the last Halo 3 that we already shelled out for. i'll wait for both games to drop in price first.
