Fucking awesome, although as ever in England it'll be expensive as shit for six months, because they'll only have a small number of copies available, they'll all be purchased, and then you'll start seeing second hand copies in the shop going for more money than they were to buy new because they are so fucking rare. Then when the six months is up, a few million copies will get shipped to the country.

This country is just one large cunt.

What was so bad about the first one to warrant a sequel so soon?

To be honest, I am not sure...I think it did so well that they figured "we better keep taking advantage of this while we still can."

Whatever the reason, I can surely go for some new maps/characters/zombies/melee weapons :)

TF2 is making new maps, weapons, and upgrades all the time without upgrading to TF3. Why is this not the case with l4d?

from my knowledge.. they felt the gameplay needed a major update. in l4d2 you wont be able to really sit in a corner and camp. you will be required to move around more and used more teamwork. but i agree.. they should release a DLC or something instead of a whole new game - but it will be worth it.

i cant wait for the second one.

It's kinda annoying that they're releasing a full new version this soon that you will have to shell out the duckets for, but it looks sick. All the melee weapons are going to rock, as well as the new special Infected. Versus mode is going to be a whole lot more interesting :gamer:

they are still going to release DLC for L4D1 bc of all the angry gamers who do not want a $60 upgrade every 12 months, myself included. kinda like paying full price for Halo 3 ODST, which comes with all of the multiplayer maps from the last Halo 3 that we already shelled out for. i'll wait for both games to drop in price first.

  • 1 month later...

TF2 raised my expectations from video games, what can I say?

truthbullets. it's pretty much perfect.

although i wish valve would make with the next update. they've been averaging one every two months or so. so we're due one.
