some of my first tracks:

this one is called "community." it resembles the experience of a severe psychotic episode. it is off of a compilation of my early unreleased tracks called thought loop.

this one is called "day." it is my favorite track i've ever made - very personal. it is the sound of my life during the waking hours. it's off of my first serious release called summer dream.

here's 3 old ass tracks from the early 00's just after i quit using impulse tracker and before i found renoise, they're 3 of a very slim number of tunes i did in reason.

:trashbear:

I love, love, love pilot because i am a sucker for melodies. Good melodic content. I still use reason - what do you use now? Hardware?

I think you're looking for this thread

no. while similar not the same thing. i don't want to share my first song because it sucks. rather, i'd like to share a track, in retrospect, that still is interesting. they are rare at that early stage of development. my first song is a drum beat ripped off from 1 speed bike. the description is more interesting than the song.

Hautlle, let's hear your early, yet carefully selected, song that still holds up to your standards of quality.

This is, I think, the first one of mine to be released on a label. It was part of a compilation on Experimedia, I think from around 2005. I had been making music years before this, but more as a bit of fun. So this one was serious business for me. I really love this track still.

ok, I can see that. I've lost most my old pre 00's music (and what I haven't lost is pure shit lol), but here's one from some time in 2002 I think. I have a couple EP's from like 2000-2006 maybe over on my last.fm page that I've received good comments about. I think they're ok, but I've heard them a million times...
