A new live album from Icarus was released in March on Not Applicable records. Icarus are the same duo responsible for two devestating dnb albums in early 2000 - Kamikazee & Fijaka. They have been remixed and remixed the likes of CoH, ISAN, Frank Bretschneider, Murcof, Four Tet etc. And have releases on Leaf, Domino as well as their own label Not Applicable.

‘All Is For The Best In The Best Of All Possible Worlds’ documents Ollie Bown and Sam Britton’s continued exploration into the world of live electronic music performance and presents new material worked up during the course of their European tour in the summer of 2009 to promote the Icarus remix album ‘Sylt Remixes’. Probably the best encapsulation of how their music has been influenced by the combined forces of improvisation (in performance) and reflection (in the sense of both compositional techniques and software development to enable such performances), the record itself is perhaps their most incisive to date.

To get an idea of what Icarus is like live you can read a decent review of their recent london gig with ISAN and Yee-King at themilkfactory. You could also spend the next seven mins being blown away by Martin Hampson's video for Uke 'Em. His visuals were used for their recent tour and are simply amazing.
