'Vertigo & Flames' is driven by razor slashed 2-step syncopations and lushed out with deeply atmospheric synth pads and Kraftwerkian melody, all the while riding plush cushioned sub pressure. 'Slacktide' is a dubbier affair, sending towering dub chords bouncing over a Latin-tucked garage pattern with nods to the intricacies of El-B or Steve Gurley.
