is anyone here familiar with an electronic artist by the name of Casey Collier? he released some stuff under that name, some as beta, some as n/a, some as buug, and some as H.U.D. i originally ordered an album/sampler from him (which was just a burnt cd) that was all his own material under these various pseudonyms. it was from his website/'label' called 0.08_nix (i think the site was izcom.com/008_nix or something similar).

well i ended up downloading a bunch of his other stuff that he put up for free downloads before he took the site down, most under his (assumed) real name. one album of it was a collaboration with a 'Bo Fader', and i think there were a couple of other albums that i couldn't access or something.

well anyway, i listen to his stuff all the time and have spent multiple hours searching for his music, or to see if he's making any new stuff and it's pretty much all disappeared. so i thought maybe someone here may be familiar with it or something, figured it was worth a shot.

Hey there, Jason. It's me, Casey.

Damn, you're one of only a handful or people. Very cool!

Yeah. Good ol' izcom.com - Sadly, I lost that domain long ago and all the content came down with it.

That is wild. It's neat to know someone out there is listening to and enjoying my work. I don't get much feedback, really. Thanks for being passionate and bothering to post. Sorry I've been tough to find online... I'll try to improve that.

I stalled on music production for a few years - career development, new home, marriage - that kinda stuff. But these days, things have settled a bit and I've got more time to work on music occasionally.

To keep it brief; your post inspired me. An 'audio portfolio' had been a project on my to-do list for far too long, so I used some of my holiday vacation to build something. Should do the trick, but consider it a work in progress. I put up as much as I could for you. Maybe somebody else will like some of it too.

seriously, i listen to it all the time. it's, in my collection, one of those old standbys i turn to quite regularly. especially given the diversity of styles, there's always something that i'm in the mood for within all your releases. also, i should mention i totally saw this post about a month ago, went and downloaded the 'summer sketches' release, and just forgot after that night that i totally didn't reply to you at all on here. i'm so glad my post got you back in the game, man. especially since that means some new stuff for me to listen to. haha.

but really, i'm glad you're back to writing and releasing stuff, and i'm awesome that you've got it all up and available. i'm looking forward to some more stuff, i'm prolly about to do some more browsing/purchasing. can't thank you enough man, if you ever need something i could help you with, let me know!
