I haven't listened to music in about 8 months...

I did this for two weeks, which meant not listening to the music I usually like.

Afterwards it was like listening to it for the first time again, mind blown and everything.

8 months is hard, you can easily get high on music after this. The rush of re-discovering is imho a rare thing. Enjoy it with whatever you pick up first, everything is going to sound amazing.

Didn't you hear music at the supermarket?

You see, that's just the problem.

All I hear is shit wherever I go. Since I've moved to the city its non-stop noise. Non. Stop.

I went through a brief (three weeks) classical phase. I still listen to some of it intermittently.

I think I am going to start collecting vinyls now to get back into it (electronic music).

I miss it.

muslimgauze - uzi mahmood track 2

the video i posted with egyptians singing and hand-clapping

some tune in global goon's quones

in every of them, there's that sexy unsynced moment between some component of all of them music. being it causde by melody, rhythm, or tune changing, it's the shit, spot that in the music you listen, it drives your attention. it's the humanization of music. differnt from quantization.

you can find allot of this in aphex twin autechre squarepusher ect, 4real

Thanks, Richy.

CAC - UAE was the last release I was really into. Haven't heard any electronic music since.

Except "TRALA OM LALA" and "TONIGHT'S GONNA BE A GOO- OOOD NIIIIGHT OOOOHH"

your signature which links to your last.fm account tells a different story

I live with a girlfriend who uses last fm radio.

I fired up the old choons starting last night.

I used to listen to music.

Philip Jeck - An Ark For The Listener is missing from that list

Thanks for reminding me. I forgot he released an album this year. Sand was one of may favourites from 2008.

it can be caused by an accent, an accident, or a mistake too

a sneeze or a fart, a belch or total silence

it's all good :cisfor:
