I really like this track ! It reminds me of some Coil but still sounds very different. I think that's the second track you made I've listened and what I'm hearing right now on your soundcloud page smells quality :)

will definitely check your stuff deeper

I liked this. Interesting intimate feel to it, it certainly brings up quite a sense of loneliness. Probably because there's no overuse of effects here, I think your style is very interesting. Could work well in the soundtrack area, I was imaging standing in a derelict building hearing this. This sounds like hardware to me, I could be wrong but it would be cool to hear what you used.

oh thanks dudes, I am really psyched to hear these things im kinda starved for feedback from ppl that know good electronic music lately...

I used a fs1r through a ensoniq dp4 (for the verb)

sequenced with Numerology,

which is badasssss for sending midi notes to stuff

cool, I almost got a dp4 recently, but someone beat me to it.. instead I got an A5000 sampler, has a similar effect section built in which you wouldn't expect from a sampler. only 2 inputs, but 6 seperate effects (stackable&routable) and 10 outputs. +it's a sampler!

how is that fs1r? difficult to get into?

I like the Fs1r a lot. if you've programmed patches for any DXs or FM8 it's not intimidating. The great software editor from this Japanese guy http://synth-voice.sakura.ne.jp/fs1r_editor_english.html has been crucial. I'm still not totally grasping the formant-seq side of it, so I feel like I'm not even half-way there with this guy, but even completely ignoring the f-seq it's really versatile as far getting cool pads, leads, & basses-- even really acid-y patches for an fm. +four assignable knobs that can send & be controlled by Midi CC.

You can hear it up front all over the last Cex album TINY CREATURE..
