TubularCorporation Posted February 10, 2017 Share Posted February 10, 2017 Been pushing up against the limits of the old MOTU lately, and daisychaining cheap MIDI splitter/mergers isn't really a long term solution. Ideally I'd get a second MIDI Express XT but the ebay prices are kind of sillyright now (I paid something like $60 a few years ago with a dozen good quality 6" cables, which was a good price but more realistic than the $200+ some people are asking now, and all of the reasonably priced ones seem to be in Japan and cost more just to ship than I paid for my current one). I guess I'm lowballing a bit but that's all I've got the budget for right now. Looking forward to the onboard processing, an I think I'll have enough inputs and outputs left over to put the MIDIpal between a pair so I can use it like an aux or insert effect, which should be really fun.
