A couple of hopefully-interesting patches for the Pulsar 23. I also took the opportunity to dust off my real-time ASCII filter [with which I’ve been preparing some cool things for next month.] You can freely access the entire WAV files of this sessions [+ some bonuses] for sampling in here.

I have been using a $40 pair of skullcandy headband style headphones. Kinda shit. Actually the sound quality is fantastic but I have NO idea what they designers were thinking when they used the plastic. Tofu would have been a stronger decision. I'm looking for headband style, or the ones that go behind your head. I fucking hate earbuds so don't even start with that. What do you guys use? I don't mind them being somewhat big, but not too huge. I am not using them for performing or anything, but I want some really decent sound quality so I can hear all the subtleties of the music.

Are there any synth builders in the area? I'm taking advantage of the Din Sync announcement with the RE808 to start the discussion. :v

I know there are various ways of doing it. Like I know Ceephax obviously does most of his stuff completely live. What other ways does everyone create full songs using their hardware? Do you use sequencers? Control hardware via a DAW like vsnares? I always just end up making repetitive patterns which I fuck about with for a bit and get bored. How do I go from that to actually composing a full track? Cheers for any replies in advance

Does anyone know what happened to Mike Sweeton ([email protected] ) the developer of Generative 2? Or how to get in touch with him? It's a fantastic if somewhat bizarre granular synth. Thanks.

MOTU Track 16 https://rvrb.io/2010s-track-16-lcfu09 €150 plus shipping (Firewire-USB hybrid) M-Audio Profire 2626 https://rvrb.io/2010s-profire-2626-zfo0m5 €150 plus shipping (Firewire) Selling these two audio interfaces because I upgraded to a Presonus Studiolive 24R. I was using them chained over optical link and at least on my macbook this did not work 100% perfectly, so I decided to replace them with one interface that does all I need. Edit: actually I shipped the Profire today and decided to keep using the MOTU as a cheapo alternative for a HiFi receiver because the used prices for that are not super inspiring.

Will post here whenever I upload gear. Sold a few things on here already, got my Volca Kick currently there for grabs. Whilst I really like it, I need to clear out stuff for cash as moving next year. https://reverb.com/uk/shop/andrews-gear-garage-508

Dear Anyone. OK, I'm a noob, I don't know what I'm talking about, I'm just about to prove that (before anyone else here tells me all those things!) I've got a bunch of VSTs - OK, freebies and demos, I'm trying to learn without blowing the bank - which make great noises - but they're totally uncontrollable because none of them do CC changes. So as far as I know, unless you tell me otherwise, I can't automate 'em. (WHY do they make VSTs that don't do CC changes!?!) Anyway. Is there such a thing as a plug-in I can use as an insert effect that DOES accept MIDI CC changes to get louder and softer, so at least I can turn the sounds up and down? Of course I …

I don't have a ton of details, beyond it being in working condition with no known issues, mostly kept in the case for the past 5 years, and includes everything seen in the photo. Price is negotiable. If you're interested, PM me and I'll put you in touch with the seller. EDIT: this is USA, so shipping anywhere outside North America would probably be too expensive to be worth it but could be an option.

In case anyone's interested: I'm turning my unused for decades Sovtek Big Muff into money. It's the Big Muff Pi Electro Harmonix had made in Russia in the 1990s, in what must be, judging from the thickness of the metal and the color of the paint, a disused tank factory. There were two releases of this pedal and mine is the first, with the tall font and the piss-poor paint job (so, yes, the paint is peeling, though there's still quite a bit on). It works fine, though I'd recommend you'd spray some contact spray in the distortion knob to get rid of crackle. Sound is awesome if you're into that kind of thing. I'm not, it turns out. Ships from the Netherlands. …
