I think it lacks a vocal or something, but I'm not sure anymore, gotta sleep it off. It was actually my goal to make it catchy and not to complicate (since I tend to complicate shit for the sake of it) so I guess job well done :) the first version of the track was a bit shorter and there was no step-up on the second drop - it kind of just repeated the first drop. now there are additional melodies on top of it and the spectrum is filled a lot better. Dpek Posted July 21, 2016 Author Share Posted July 21, 2016 I thought very hard about adding vocals, but I came to this conclusion: I would have to get a very special vocalist to not turn this song into a pop cringe-fest or rather into a bland mainstream song, but I really didn't have any knowledge of whereabouts of special vocalists in my region.
