  1. Yeah, Nintendo also said they would do a reprint of Marth because of this... there goes the Marth market.
  2. You should try Ipecac with quad shots - good lord, the explosions! You can one-shot Satan's first and second forms if you charge it up.
  3. Good time to justify buying a PS4 I say! Plus, with Dark Souls II coming out for PS4 in April, *hopefully* gamers' PS3 saves will transfer over (if you had PS+, you could had your save stored in the cloud, so it would be available on a PS4 *if* they allowed save transfers).
  4. you mean something like this? http://steamcommunity.com/groups/WATMM I can't join it - invitation only. Could somebody change the confidentiality parameters of the group ? JR pls ? I didn't set it up...
  5. Oh, I see - yeah, I was surprised when I found out they had R4 cards for 3DS as well - I have two r4 cards for my kids' old DS Lites (we have 4 of them, each a different color), but it's funny - as soon as they could play any game they wanted, they lost interest. I was the same way with my PSP after I installed a custom firmware.Oh man there are so many great games on the DS i just would in a billion years'd've discovered if not for that r4 card. Was always interested in getting a psp for that same reason cos apperantly its a pretty stable snes emu (somethng the ds was never good at handling) The PSP is an awesome emulator for NEO GEO, CPS 1/2, SNES, NES, SMS, Genesis/Mega Drive - it can do it all!

  7. There are new R4 cards for 3DS, but supposedly they aren't stable (and can only run DS stuff). Wait, are you saying the "new" 3DS ONLY has MicroSD, and no capacity to play existing 3DS/DS cartridges? That can't be right...
  8. Super Mario 3D World is a 'proper' Mario game - and a really, really good one. It should be the de-facto pack-in for the Wii U.
  9. It's just a running joke - and laziness.
  10. Not much chance of a Wii U post-2015... I think Zelda (Wii U) is the only big game they have coming? That's not to say the other 2015 Wii U releases (Starfox, Splatoon, Mario Maker) couldn't be breakaway hits, but still... I know they announced a new Pikmin game would be coming, but surely that's 2016? The "New" 3DS has Amiibo connectivity, right? Or are they planning on adding that on with an expansion module?
  11. RE1 might be my favorite game of all time. Loved the GC version. I actually can't wait for this. Cash in no doubt but would love to own a 1080p version :) You might want to read this: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2015-vs-resident-evil-on-ps4 Very interesting approach to this remake, for sure...
  12. Nintendo is also doing a deal where if you register both the Wii U and 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros, you get an exclusive 2 CD Smash Bros soundtrack! http://club2.nintendo.com/smash-promo/?eid=email_510750912_512241008_1e882d9b
  13. Well, as with every character, you get items for defeating bosses; not very good items imo, but not bad either. You also get a very good item for defeating the 6 main bosses on Hard (thus making The Lost the only character worth going past the Womb in hard mode) Unless they've patched it since then, I read where the items you can get with The Lost don't unlock properly - I'm still busy getting all the other characters fully finished off (normal/hard), so hopefully this will be patched by the time I'm ready to start doing Lost runs. It's another HD remake of the GC version which was a remake of the PS1 version... I swear, Resident Evil is like the Final Fantasy of Capcom.
  14. There's Costume Quest 2 that just came out recently. We really enjoyed Costume Quest when it came out. Fun little game. Got it on my Steam wishlist right now. Just waiting for the perfect opportunity to snatch it up. (a.k.a. Steam sale) How would you say it compares to the first? I'm hoping for more mini-games/side quests. I haven't played it yet - BOI has been eating up my time - I'd say read reviews, and see if it stacks up to what you liked about CC1. New game from Ninja Theory (Heavenly Sword, Enslaved, DMC) on PS4 and PC - Hellblade: Their characters and visuals are getting damn near photorealistic! The eye flickering/twitching really did it for me.
  15. Likewise - we're getting closer - only 6 more challenges to go!
  16. Well, the achievements for going through the game and not getting hit... there are 3-4 if I remember correctly. The Lost is really a character for hardcore players. Binding of Isaac really is the most fun game I've probably played since the 90's - the developers really captured what made games back then really fun, and the visuals appeal to me now (I was down on them before, but now I see what they were going for). There's Costume Quest 2 that just came out recently. We really enjoyed Costume Quest when it came out. Fun little game.
  17. Played a ton of Binding of Isaac: Rebirth over my holiday break - also some Tetris Ultimate, and endless games of Super Smash Bros. with my kids.
  18. A newly redesigned Wii U gamepad would be a nice addition to the Mario Maker levels...
  19. I've heard it a few times, but nothing worth noting - you might want to make sure it has at least several inches of space on the front and sides, and ideally an open back versus a hole for ventilation (since that's where most of the hot air is blown out).
  20. My son and I are determined to beat Binding of Issac: Rebirth 100% - been doing some insane runs, and have almost unlocked all the challenges. Amazing little game. Finally got to the fourth level in Geometry Wars 3 - game is brutal. Also, Amazon has the Playstation TV for 70USD - tempted to get one to play all those free Vita games I got with PS Plus...
  21. I had such high hopes for this game... visually, beautiful, but gameplay-wise, I understand it's not all what it cracked up to be - the Destiny of racing games, if you will.
  22. If you like the Vita games but don't particularly game on the go, you might consider a PlayStation TV - all the Vita goodness, without the portability (sort of) - only 99USD too. Also nice if you have a PS4, you can use it as a Remote Play(station) for another TV in your house. I saw the Borderlands bundle (Vita) available for 170USD recently as well...
