I think it might be salient to remind folks: Richard has told a few porky pies (exaggerated truths) in interviews before - no reason for him to stop now. It's a game. Don't believe everything you read or hear - I find the truth is somewhere in between usually, and eventually finds it's way to the surface.

Blerp famously crashed when Tomorrow's Harvest, Exai and even L-Event came out - I expect SYRO will cause Blerp to produce a mushroom cloud the size of Manchester... Not sending it out to (online) magazines, they were invited at the listening parties without their phones. Otherwise, journalists were invited to go to Warp HQ and listen to it there after the same strict policies. There are a few watermarked CD's as well, but the people who have that know that if they leak it, they won't get anymore stuff by Warp. Glad Warp has found a way! They also have an online streaming solution... not allowed to say anything more about that though.

LOL - no need - SYRO is probably my favourite Aphex Twin release since ICBYD. Hands down. It's that damn good. Weren't it you that thought drukqs was only 'quite good'? Ah, let's not go into that - I like DrukQs - it was just a poor choice of wording based on cultural differences.
