it's because of how they've written every character. they all take very dramatic cues and phrasing of sentences- or they do what this lady does and act like someone is holding a gun up to their head
the only way i can see binging working for this show if it ends and/or is cancelled so we know how many episodes. otherwise, you'll always have to wait between seasons which is equally as terrible as waiting per week to find out if

I don't think it's right to do that to kids.
do you know how she had that double mastectomy? was it completely random? did she have a health problem? was she diagnosed with a dysphoria?
also you should consider: if you don't think this is right, maybe the people that did it know more than you do. i'm not saying they do, but perhaps you can think they do instead of thinking they don't. after all, we can't judge all gender transformation surgeries based on that one girl's experience
