Waiting for the vinyl is just grandstanding Oscilik.
Fumi the only thing I can say is that I think they've purposely avoided having tracks that standout. That's the impression I get from the interview. More than any other past work, I think they were going for a true album experience. So if you are going to enjoy this album, you're going to have to enjoy it that way rather than hoping it will meet your expectations for what a BOC album should sound like. This album is definitely different. Thank god! It's up to you to decide whether you're able to be open to what comes next or whether you're going to keep hoping for them to repeat a pattern that you find satisfying.

Pretty rad to think there are people who are just discovering BOC for the first time. They'll like TH and decide to check out older albums and they'll hear MHTRTC and IABPOITC for the first time.

there are dozens of moments on this album where I think i hear a melody from one of their older tracks but then it's gone. i love that.

I know Semena Mertvykh is the track from the teaser video. But it isn't completely the same? It seems like that teaser version was more minimal than the album track.

Is it just me or does that synth from Farewell Fire come in at the end of Transmisiones Ferox?
it's the synth loop from the Adult Swim/NPR/record store day etc. "transmissions." Including that little clip on the album is sort of a tip of the hat to the fans I suspect.

The old tunes rips are probably the only versions of those songs that we will ever hear. Unless you buy that thing on eBay.

For those interested, Mojo gave the new LP 4 out of 5 stars in this months issue, out today.
I won't bother with the bullshit in between, but starts with "The kings of ethereal analogue electronica fashion glorious return", and ends with "Tomorrow's Harvest may be seasoned with Eno and Tangerine Dream, but in truth, Boards of Canada are peerless".
