  1. Luke Vibert did a remix competition for his track Sci-Fi Staircase in Future Music - Richard entered under the name of a friend of his called Tahniaya Russel (or something) and won. When it was discovered it was him, they did an interview with him and an article about it and gave the runner-up the prize. Richards track was never released, no, but quickly after that recording showed up and people assumed that must be that remix he did. Weird, you'd think they would release the track... =/ Read all about it here: cheers, thanks. I didn't know this much about it. yeah lol what why would the competition be so secretive defeats the purpose, doesn't it?

  6. yes that's exciting though, means he's not done uploading maybe? =)
  7. Interesting. Very nice drum programming. edit: but not steinvord.
  8. Shit is still imminent. This is true Chenboss. Do you know how imminent?
  9. it's not He gave us these tracks to spend time with until the highlight of the year. :) You'll see!
  10. theres a thread for that stuff m8 http://forum.watmm.com/topic/86497-possible-alt-rdj-soundclouds-and-associated-debunkery/page-3?do=findComment&comment=2282690
  11. "why are you here listening to this? aphex twin just released over 100 (what are we at now, 110?) new tracks and you're listening to shitty remixes?"
  12. That Weber-dude at FB ; he is really something LOL :-) i really don't like her. she kind of scares me. Her eyes and her mouth are really really big. Alien or something
  13. u wanna piece o me too? sorry, sorry, im still in alpha male mode only if i can close my eyes and pretend you are your avatar how about my avatar instead big boy?
  14. heh lol that's an even more likely source than the NWA one tbh. (edit: as to where I was remembering it from) I even posted a page or two back that I thought it was from wagon christ. I know the break is sampled a bazillion times, but that little bass hit at the end isn't, so much. In fact, I imagine wagon christ mayble sampled NWA in that Electron Gangsta track?
  15. you talkin' to me, or zeff? Oh xD To you It's not "exactly" the same, but it's the same break sampled, and ends in an extremely similar couple of bass notes. cheers, thanks for pointing it out.
  16. That's been in my head driving me nuts at work all day trying to figure out where I heard it. lol
  17. straight outta compton? holy shit how the fuck lol my dad used to listen to NWA (don't ask). That's where I've heard it 8123904190824012840 times. thank you
  18. It's not just the break I'm talking about... The drum beat ends in a pattern of two distinctly different bass notes. also yes of course I'm trolling you hard with the james brown stuff. whos jams brun?
  19. You must be joking, but anyways: I don't get it Sounds familiar, though slower than it should be. Cannot place it. Yes, slowed down. Go to 5:34 of the funky drummer track. spot the break. Gotcha. Ok question. Since I obviously don't listen to this james brown feller' because I'm busy with the idmz. Where have I heard that exact same break with the 2 bass hits (which are very notably missing from this "james brown" dudes track) like in 20 pink floyd, in uh... like music we I listen to? At first I thought it might be a wagonchrist track but skimmed the discography and found nothing. edit: but good job guys with the regular source. I'm legitimately impressed. I'm just trying to find out where I heard it (which is def not james brown lol). It was the exact same break and timing with the bass as the 20 pink floyd track.
