Ironic how that happens. Worked with a guy who literally lived a block away and was always late Yeah, and it pisses my boss off no end. It's not like I'm hours late! But...still, I have no excuses. Can't even blame traffic. but in the back of your mind you know that if you're early.... you're at work NOT getting paid... right?

I've heard that everyone has dreams, you just don't remember them. For instance, you can have a lucid dream where you're aware you were dreaming but then forget you ever had the dream. There are ways to increase dream recall, like waking up and instantly trying to remember what you dreamed makes it easier to recall Also, write them down asap if you remember them. As an alcoholic in my previous life (there is a link between alcohol and dreaming, google is your friend), I'm lucky because I always have really really intense lucid dreams. Sometimes it's almost like a second life. I would say I have one dream I vividly remember every four months or so, and it's usually nothing major. Although I do remember one where, as someone said up above, I woke up quite disappointed that it wasn't real, so the capability is there but I must be averse to it. Nor do I drink--apart from a bottle of baileys drunk slowly over Xmas--so it could all be affecting my chances of dreaming. I guess it doesn't help I only sleep for about fours hours a day during the week as well. I actually really enjoy the lucid dreams. I always have a blast. The most recent one I posted in the first world successes thread lol. Tom J was playing a gig for me and he really really wanted white grape juice with vodka and wouldn't play until we got him the right kind. It was pretty funny, woke up with a big grin. My sleeping pattern is like you, 4hrs/ish a night during the week. Nothing you want to do at all? Travel? Drugs? Women? Food? Life does get pretty boring after a while though....

Not really a first world success but I don't know where else to put it. Had a crazy dream last night that squarepusher and ceephax were booked to play a wedding I was attending, but Tom wouldn't start his set until someone found him a glass of white grape juice with vodka, said it was his favorite drink. The dream felt like it went on for hours and Tom was really determined to get his white grape juice. He was being a bit of a diva. The dream was a lot of fun. -
Yeah, the street is property owned by the city typically so... sounds like they're just being whiny. It might be a bit of a faux-pas if you're constantly doing it just to block their space lol but if they can clearly see vehicles in front of your place then what do they expect you to do? Is it a house or an apartment building btw?

Yeah it's a really weird decision. Apparently I can rip to digital with my record player (pro-ject debut 3 carbon) but I'm not sure how to do it. I need to work on that. lol

that's not it though man! The vinyl has more tracks.... it has the mnlth remix on there. =( It's ok, I'll make do with that I guess. I didn't know weme had a bandcamp, I was trying to purchase the digi from their actual store. thanks for the help!
