Word. But probably not since it’s a ten inch. Honestly I’m just excited we’re about to get anything new at all, and 2 new things at once. Not listening to the live sets so if it is something new it will be a fresh experience first time I hear it. Field Day and the Houston tracks were great.

Yeah man, me and wifey agreed to go in dry (lol) on this one. We've heard the snippets from the live sets but aren't listening any further until there are official releases. It's also been.. since syro since we've done shrooms so that's on the table too if a series of EPs or an album comes out lol!

Edit: there's more to the shrooms thing than just getting high and jamming out lol. Just need a reset b/c lots going on in life and our best resets have always been sonically augmented that's all.

The festival-exclusive vinyls are cool as hell. Who knows, if we get lucky he may even expand upon the tracklist in Phex-Mart like he did with the Field Day album.

This is what I’m hoping yeah! ?

Welp...I realize BGS get clowned a lot by the gamer community, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hyped for No Man's Skyrim. Fr tho, we be gettin spoiled af this year for gaming.

I’m looking forward to this too. Shame it’s fps locked on consoles but I’ll be on PC thankfully. Hopefully it’s properly optimized given how long it’s been in dev. Time shall tell..

I big brained you because it’s true.
My interpretation of the big brain is “this person is smart and knows what they are talking about”.
    no cap

?I’ll never know who is kidding around these hurr parts. I was just playing ofc big guy but post Keith prodigy is just not something I think should happen. I know this is just an anniversary tour or whatever but it instantly imposed a nasty saline, chlorine type “flavour” on me.

    cheers

ps I had to google what no cap means ?‍♂️

I'm genuinely happy for others who are getting into this, but just tried listening all the way through again and still didn't enjoy it at all lol (apart from the obviously fantastic mixing and great punchy overall sound.) But apart from that it seems quite limited, like he's always in the same scales or something, and too many dissatisfying moments where I hoped for some payoff but something meandered into nothing. tbh I even prefer Tim Exile's 'Listening Tree' for electronic musician now does singing. I know it got a lot of hate and it's not my favourite thing ever but it has plenty of imagination and surprise, that's for sure.

I still enjoy Listening Tree here and there. Always found it weird how universally panned it was. Maybe Sus gets filed in your don’t like folder or maybe it grows on you. I found it quite pleasant, similar comfortable scales were ok for me I’m glad it kind of set into a groove sonically and didn’t have surprises at every turn.

Maybe I’m just getting old and enjoying nostalgia vibes more than experimentalism or something lol.

    cheers

This, I'm not buying warp would budget this kind of promotional app, plus stage design for a black box/cube in the same theme, just for a 4 min single. I can buy that a single is coming but not that it's standalone.

Sure did. And I know exactly what you mean. Prey is arguably the closest game to System Shock spiritually that isn't System Shock - even more so than Bioshock I'd argue. Especially when it comes to inventory management, multiple grenade types, and audio logs, there's so much overlap between Prey and SS. There's even homage to the original Through the Looking Glass developer when you're watching the in-game video clips of the Yus on those big glass screens.

YES! 100% for me that was my experience with Prey! I think we've prob had a similar conversation before I just couldn't recall. I haven't played the SS remake yet but it's on my short list, looking forward to it.

There's (not fully credible) rumors Arkane is working on a sequel to the 2017 Prey. Intriguing as for me it's the truest successor to SS for me. Time will tell. In the meantime I will get around to the remake. Cheers ?

Would be a very funny marketing gimmick for his next release if Warp Photoshops him to look like he had some plastic surgery done.

    Donatella versace style lol

    Just this but RDJ style:

Finally finished System Shock remake, after clocking in just over 30 hours.

It's kinda surreal seeing one of my favorite childhood games on PC get an overhaul like this, not to mention mainstream attention and praise. I remember first backing it as a Kickstarter project back in July 2016. After multiple delays and a complete game engine change, I'd say Nightdive fully delivered.

Granted it's not without its flaws (albeit minor ones), but overall it's been a pretty neat journey through Citadel station. Now just debating whether to jump straight into a second playthrough (taking a slightly different weapons approach) or hop back on NMS for the new Singularity expedition - for which there's about a month left.

I don’t recall, did you play the Prey (2017) game? I always felt that was kind of a system shock reboot. Not a remake of course but…

Like 90% of all the recordings from Stockholm set have very good quality but it is only 20 seconds snippets here and there..
Wish someone would just recorded a bit longer.. No need to focus on the camera just hold it in the hand and rave along!

Totally lol, wouldn't be too hard!

This thread has me giddy though thx to everyone sharing found clips ?

Damn that's like a 303-solo it is so happy kinda good feeling

Wonder if it is his new stuff also..
Imagine if he continues the Analord serie with this!

It sounds like a Rolando Simmons or ROTR acid line mixed with afx beats I can’t place it exactly but I’m almost certain I’ve heard the acid line before…

Edit: not saying it’s one of them btw just that it’s very familiar I’m trying to place it now ?.
