I began watching the original "Dune" movie directed by David Lynch and thoroughly enjoyed it, particularly for its unique designs. However, I was uncertain if it contained too many spoilers, especially since it quickly dives into the plot. Given the movie's duration, it seemed like it would surpass the plot of the newer films at that pace.

Iron meteorites are very often formed from a single crystal of iron-nickel alloy, or sometimes a number of large crystals that may be many meters in size, and often lack any discernable crystal boundary on the surface. Large crystals are extremely rare in metals, and in meteors they occur from extremely slow cooling from a molten state in the vacuum of space when the solar system first formed. Once in the solid state, the slow cooling then allows the solid solution to precipitate a separate phase that grows within the crystal lattice, which form at very specific angles that are determined by the lattice. In meteors, these interstitial defects can grow large enough to fill the entire crystal with needle or ribbon-like structures easily visible to the naked eye, almost entirely consuming the original lattice. They consist of a fine interleaving of kamacite and taenite bands or ribbons called lamellae. Commonly, in gaps between the lamellae, a fine-grained mixture of kamacite and taenite called plessite can be found.

I am not sure if somebody even works "at warp" anymore at this point.
the promotion will be done at some pool agency and the new artist signing doesn't feel like there is a person with half a brain in charge anymore.
the promotion seems to be done completely by the artists themselves which the coverart of Syro might be hinting at as there is no "WARP" attributed expense on the list. I might be wrong though.

I just randomly added white wine and olive oil to my carbonara sauce and it made it 2 times more delicious. Wonder what happens if I add garlic as well next time

Yeah this was my reaction to the final trailer before Elden Ring released as well. I'm of the lore-analyzing-like-a-crackhead-team so most of the late game bosses were spoiled there. Miyazaki said in an interview the DLC is about the size of Limgrave, wonder if it's a similar situation to the base game, I remember him saying it takes about 40 hours to complete which was such an understatement. He really undersold the game with this, took me like 120 hours to see every nook and cranny. From Software coming in with the chad marketing energy

I didn’t like it in the beginning as well but the drum is kind of trance inducing pushing the boc trademark sound into your brain in such an intense way that it’s almost overwhelming like eating a really large candy bar. Once you commit to that the track becomes really awesome
it’s also important to listen on really good speakers so none of the crispy smoky sound of that drum gets lost

True Detective S4 was an absolute train wreck. Not sure how it happened as HBO has an outstanding track record due to their quality control and willingness to green light projects other platforms would botch, if not avoid entirely, but goddamn. I feel bad for all the actors involved as this just came across as so bad in so many different ways. The editing with the overuse of music, and not just any music but for the most part really vapid and even flat out goofy selections (an acoustic, austere cover of the Twist?, for real?) caught me off guard.
The overuse of profanity, especially the word fuck, particularly in the last episode, was mind-boggling. Seriously. Throughout the series but especially at the end everyone shared the same ape-brained dialogue you would expect from a 13 year old schoolyard bully. The show got progressively worse in all aspects but you can REALLY hear it in the dialogue as the writers rushed through it at the end.
I honestly thought the setting and the basic premise of the show on paper could have been great. The native community, the mining protests, female protagonists all could have been handled just fine but they really did have to overreach and make it disturbingly woke. The complete gender role-reversal and glaring emasculation of the men in uniform is on full display here. Men are only fit to flip pancakes or submissively mop up the crime scene while their female counterparts are performing sexual conquests on other women’s trophy husbands or partaking in 3 v 1 fistfights with the neighborhood bad boys.
Lastly, it’s just fucking bad. As others have already mentioned the jump scares they go for don’t land and look straight out of the forgettable early 2000’s Japanese repurposed for American horror audiences genre, complete with stock audio cues and all. They just straight up try to shoehorn in a connection to a riveting scene in from the first season of True Detective, there are a ton of plot holes, loose ends, etc. But the worst part is that they have some damn good actors in here that tried their hardest to polish this turd. Navarro was a little iffy in a few scenes but other than that I would say everyone tried their damndest to make up for the terrible writing and made it passable enough for me to continue watching it.
I will say that I gave up on TD season 2 about midway through because it was boring and was pleasantly surprised with how much I wound up enjoying season 3. This was a fucking gong show however, but I can’t imagine a scenario where S5 could be worse than what I just watched.
So it’s completely unwatchable? Sounds like a 2/10

I am currently looking for DJ equipment that will make me get used to the big decks that are used in clubs like the large pioneer DJ consoles but without spending 2000 bugs. What are my options? I also would prefer to have a usb stick version that doesn’t need a laptop and that might be compatible to the pioneer file system. Is there something like this starting in the lower price digits? Where is the lowest entry point in there that is still preparing me for a club setting?
