yeah I believe Aphex Twin gave it to WARP, with the comment "if you want to find names I don't" ... Somehow I believe that he trusted in WARP marketing, maybe even the TOR thing wasn't done by him. that said, where is the VIDEO for MTV, SYRO is already a huge success, where the fuck is cunningham when you need him? h i s t o r y - r e p e a t s!

I'm not sure what you want to point out with what you are saying right there, what about track 4, track 8 track 11? the sound is not exactly the same, but for me even between saw and saw II is a huge difference and they even have the same nam, most poeple would say SaW II is the far greater masterpiece, for me that is not true! Of course it is alot of personal opinion. it is some kind of new aphex twin I agree! sometimes I think syro is a collabo album if some little parts here and there would not be made by him but then I think it is just a little more relaxed and fluent - in return it is not "as powerful", it's still one of his best albums. and please relax a little bit. If you take just ventolin and alberto balsam from "I care because you do" then you can "destroy" every album that exists right now. Overall it's a fun listen and works very good as album. (you can still not compare it to drukqs because drukqs is huuuge with about 30 tracks/skits)

syro is so good. I don't know what to say. I wonder how many of the tracks already been public prior release... I did not catch up with all the unreleased stuff afaik it is 1-5 and the last track is that correct?

I fell asleep on the chair yesterday night, woke up and it was on... ~ 5:45 german time... vinyl is coming tomorrow. I'm to lazy to look up the tracknames so I will just use their numbers, 11 is the most advanced aphex twin track on the album I believe, 2 METZ! better than x-mas, 10 is weird but a I like it, it is actually really cool hymn like from AFX. 12..... lovly! 5 is ok! 4 is bonkers! the whole record is easy listening but still echter untergrund! Yes you can say Aphex Twin is still able to reach new levels and come up with new hights! I would not compare it with tuss at all, also not with drukqs. Syro is a pretty straight take on some parts that also exist in drukqs, it is not as much "in your face" as other stuff, but if you look carefully and "fold it up" there is 0 of the complexity gone. The most bizarr track on the album is this "skit" track 7 it send me outer space but because I never looked at the playlist it also made me sad, why isn't that an intro to a full track? sorry for my bad english ;)

no it's true, I'm sure the leak is already out there too... I guess it's out there for days already... the vinyl came early and was sold today, I didn't get one myself but I'm 99,9% sure... the CD was not in stock yet which means someone would still have to rip it from vinyl.

i just was at the park listening to drukqs I think I didn't listen to the whole album in many many years... holy shit... it's so good... why do poeple say Aphex Twin does not care about release and throws random tracks together?
