  1. Finally I have caught up with this thread, read every page over the last few days and was always slightly behind on what's going on.

Spent most of the day listening to the tracks for the first time in the kitchen whilst doing other stuff. Still not finished listening to them all. The quality is amazing, I can't remember any track names now but so many gems, especially the Slo tracks.

And now I find out he's enabling downloads soon. I bet the rest of watmm has been tumbleweed this week

welcome Bumcum, sounds like youve been a slave to the tracks. Me too, i don't know where the day has gone.

  2. Listening to Parking Lot now... at first I thought it was strange he used the same sample that janet jackson had used for her song... but then, after listening now, I just realized that he had done that way before janet jackson and I went check the dates... JJ's song is 97; according to his notes, Parking Lot is 88-89ish (and you could tell that from the style of the track too)... how cool is that? it's 8 years before the same exact sample was used in a massive superproduction track

I thought the Parking Lot sample was from Counting Crows ''ooh baby we paved paradise and put up a parking lot, ooh baby'' Just shows how many naff 90's popcycles were borrowing from eachother. ''Baby please, let me pave paradise. I can put up a parking lot. I'll get rich quick''

  3. There's only one place for Bill now that his decades of crime have come to light. Stick him in Monster Mansion aka Beastville. There'ill be a variety of cellmates for him to play Cluedo with into the midnight hours. It is only then that he can reflect on his odious ways. Gary Glitter is mostly heading there within a few days as well, that place will be bursting at the seams with beastliness. I hope the prison guards are on lots of money.

  4.

American Sniper 7/10 - Painting by numbers narrative. Realistic war scenes. It was alright.

Nosferatu The Vampyre 10/10 - Dawgs, this is a masterpiece.

Wagner through the mountain clouds, Georgian choral pieces, Popol Vuh everywhere,,,,and those are just the tunes

Ha, yeah i think Nosferatu is the perfect appetizer after Sniper. They're a p

air of bloodthirsty alpha male types and a bit daft
  5. Godzilla 6/10 - Too many plot holes and boring lead characters drag this needlessly into the mud. CG, music and sound design are really good.

Cold in July 7/10 - Yeah it was ok, Don Johnson, Michael C Hall and Sam Shepard travel into the dark world of redneck Texas 1989. It's mullet central.

  6. Locke's strength is within it's concrete foundation :emb: sorry

In Phone Booth Farrell's character was a guy forced to admit his faults rather than try and worm his way out of it. Locke is the polar opposite, he freely admits to his indiscresions while running as far away from them as he possibly can. And he's the more noble man.

  7. Really enjoying walking round the spaceship in Alien Isolation and checking out what they've done with that place, nice authentic interior design, retro compters and tape players, that woodpecker, original Goldsmith music, (sadly game keeps crashing back to the desktop after level 1, really annoying, a few bugs to fix in the dir folder. Liked what i've seen so far though)

  8. Screener torrenters should also provide a review of the font in their assessments. Size, sanserif or not, times at which it appears, ie 12:09, Times New Roman (looks italic but i can't tell for sure cos of the yellowish tinge due to the lack of pixels).

  9. American Sniper - THE most 1-sided account of war i've ever seen, shame on you Clint

Inherent Vice - 9/10......& i was stoned thru most of it for added chutzpah. Anderson's best film by quite some margin. Did i already write that?

    Ooh er, someones been torrenting.
